2015 PROGRAMS AND ROUNDTABLES<br />
In 2015, CAI-NJ facilitated multiple regionally held Legislative Updates as well as Roundtables and Best Practices programs. Board members<br />
and Managers attend the Legislative Updates to learn about topics such as mortgage foreclosures, abandoned properties and rent receiverships,<br />
the Dublirer decision and its impact on speech in community associations, manager licensing, the Municipal Services Act, emergency<br />
planning including the use of generators and clubhouses as emergency shelter, the advancement of homeowners rights, compliance with FHA,<br />
FNMA and other mortgage requirements and accommodations for the disabled.<br />
During the Manager and Business Partner Roundtables and Best Practices, both group learn valuable information regarding manager licensing,<br />
budgeting, insurance, the Affordable Healthcare Act and other important topics.<br />
Thank you to the presenters of these programs. CAI-NJ will continue to present to the membership topics of importance such as those listed<br />
above. Keep an eye out for upcoming series in 2015 and 2016!<br />
