2 Ansted (David Thomas). The Ionian Islands in the Year 1863, 1st<br />
ed., 1863, tinted lithographed frontispiece, four maps, woodengraved<br />
illustrations, bookplate, original green blindstamped cloth,<br />
slight edgewear, 8vo<br />
Blackmer 35. Ansted was a geologist and engineer of considerable reputation<br />
and wrote several travel books as well as works on geology and geography.<br />
A good copy.<br />

1835, seven etched plates by George Cruikshank from sketches by<br />

author’s presentation inscription to title, partly excised ownership<br />
inscription to title, some minor scattered spotting, contemporary<br />

contemporary tree calf, spines with contrasting labels and gilt<br />
