CONDITIONS OF SALE TERMS OF PAYMENT - Payment can be made with the order or upon collection or delivery. We accept cash, cheques from an established customer, debit and credit cards. There will be a charge of 1.5% of the total for payment by credit card. Monthly credit facilities may be available to agreed Credit Accounts after we have received a completed application form with references. Payment will be due by Direct Debit on the 21 st of the month following invoice. Should payment to us be overdue we reserve the right to charge i nterest on the overdue balance at 2% monthly to cover our expenses. RETURNED CHEQUES & DIRECT DEBITS - Should a cheque or Direct Debit be returned, we will debit £10 to the customer’s account to cover the charge made by our own Bank and our administration costs. CLAIMS - Customers are requested to check all goods carefully at the time of delivery. The delivery note should be signed and any shortage or breakage noted. We regret we cannot accept claims for shortages or breakages after the delivery has been made. KEG BEER ULLAGES - Keg beers and lagers which are returned to us as ullage will be sent back to the appropriate brewery for testing. The keg must have a label showing the best before or racking date and must still be in date (or within 56 days of the racking date) for us to be able to claim credit for you. It must contain at least 36 litres (8 gallons), otherwise no credit will be given. Credit will only be passed to you if we receive credit notification from the brewery concerned. TITLE TO GOODS - Unless otherwise agreed in writing between Page & Sons (The Company) and the Customer, property and title in goods shall remain with the Company and shall not pass to the Customer until such time as the Company has received payment in full for the goods and receives all other amounts due from the Customer to the Company at the date of delivery. If the Customer sells all or part of the goods before payment of the full purchase price is made, such sales shall be made by the Customer as agent of the Company and the proceeds of such sale shall be held on the Company’s behalf in such a manner as to make them readily identifiable as the Company’s property. In the event of non-payment by the Customer by the due date, the Company shall be entitled, in addition to all other rights, to enter any premises where the goods may be and recover possession of them. SALE OR RETURN - Goods are NOT supplied on Sale or Return. VALUE ADDED TAX - Prices shown in this list do NOT include VAT which should be added where applicable at the prevailing rate. - 4 -
