There are several heritage homes in Richmond Hill that<br />
have been repurposed for various artistic initiatives.<br />
The Boynton House is now an established Art Exhibition<br />
Space with an art hanging system, specialized lighting<br />
and an affordable rental program. Artists can apply to rent the house for their<br />

The Burr House Craft Gallery and Tea Room, is now a tea room, gift and<br />
artisan shop. Stop by during the Studio Tour for tea, scones and zucchini bread!<br />
The adjacent Guild Hall, an 1820’s church is now home to the Burr House<br />
Spinners and Weavers Guild and the Hill Potters Guild. One of the oldest<br />
heritage buildings in Richmond Hill.<br />

Mill Pond Gallery<br />
The Richmond Hill Group of Artists (RHGA) was formed in February 1978<br />
with ten enthusiastic members. For many years the RHGA held meetings<br />
and workshops at various locations, such as the basement of the local<br />
Dairy Queen, schools, community halls and the Heritage Centre on<br />
Church Street.<br />
In 1994, the Richmond Hill Group of Artists opened the Mill Pond Gallery,<br />
at 314 Mill Street, across from the historic Mill Pond Park.<br />
The RHGA provides a meeting place for artists of all levels, both<br />
professional and non-professional. This group is for everyone who<br />
enjoys the creation and appreciation of art.<br />
