We are one of the few kitchen-makers in Denmark that can supply
veneered fronts where the direction of the grain is consistent
throughout, giving all fronts in the kitchen a consistent, uniform
appearance. It might all sound a bit technical, but you’ll notice the
difference when you see it.
All cabinet coverings are made from 8-mm material and assembled
using grooves for ultimate stability.
Our cabinets are made from a 19-mm melamine-coated material.
We use this thickness instead of the standard 16 mm to provide
extra stability and a longer lifetime.
All drawers and cutlery trays come in lacquered solid maple. They
come fastened to the bottom of the drawers with screws.
All exposed cabinet surfaces come in wear-resistant materials such
as veneer or laminate. These materials are glued directly to the
sides of the cabinets, providing a beautiful finish that accentuates
the overall sense of fine quality.
All drawers come with lacquered solid maple sides. The sides are
assembled using traditional, time-tested dovetail joints, ensuring
that they last for many years of everyday use. The drawer bottoms
come in 3-mm, table-top-grade, pastel-grey compact laminate
for the greatest possible resistance to wear from cutlery etc. The
bottoms fit into grooves running along the sides of the drawers. It
doesn’t get more solid than that.
All our drawers come with a unique “mercedes shutter”, which enables
them to gently finish closing automatically.
We seal all our door finishes with a polyurethane lacquer. This
results in a very tough surface that adds years onto the product’s
lifetime. The extra strength is especially valuable in kitchens with
built-in handles on doors and drawers. The polyurethane lacquer
also makes surfaces easier to clean and more resistant to fading
due to sunlight.
