Maltese Facts <strong>Malta</strong> is a very small Island! Size: 316 sqkm Length: 27.359 km and Width: 14.480 km We only have a Population of around 450,000! But thankfully we have a beautiful climate. A sunny climate with a daily average of 6 hours sunshine in mid-winter to more than 12 hours in summer. Our Official languages are Maltese and English; so unlike other places everyone here will understand you if you speak English! 5
