Van Reenens ride – weekend of the 13 th 14th 15th November.<br />
A social off-road weekend in the mountains… Dirtbikes, quads and side by sides all<br />
welcome… just 3 hours from JHB. Please note – Not much for people who do not ride to<br />
do…<br />
Exclusive bike only routes as well as family routes for quads and side by sides…<br />
A fun weekend in the saddle – great company, tasty South African food, comfy<br />
accommodation – and a really lekker ride in a beautiful place…<br />
Arrive on Friday afternoon, settle in and we’ll get together for dinner in the evening where<br />
we’ll brief you about Saturdays ride. On Saturday after breakfast, we head out into the<br />
surrounding farmlands – some fantastic trails for you to explore, mountains, old wagon trails<br />
and railway passes, rivers, rocky passes, this one has it all. We’ve spent time looking for<br />
single track trails for the bikes – you’ll love it.<br />
There are quite a few technical bits and pieces, but there are lots of bodies on hand to assist –<br />
and we make sure that there are escape routes- so you shouldn’t get too stuck.<br />
Lunch is in one of the most unique places – a cave in the middle of, literally nowhere – it is<br />
quite something to see.<br />
Saturday evening is prize giving – and we’ll show the movie from the day’s goings on –<br />
usually lots of fun and very chilled. On Sunday after breakfast, there is an optional short ride<br />
– we usually take the bikes on some interesting technical trails – always great fun. Then it’s<br />
back to the Big Smoke…<br />
