MAIN EMPLOYMENT<br />

1994- : Senior Scientist in <strong>the</strong> Department of Policy Analysis, National Environmental Research<br />

Institute. Member of <strong>the</strong> environmental sociology group, working with <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>me: Mobility and modern<br />

man, seen from a sociological perspective. Main works: Benzin i blodet - kvalitativ del (130 p.),<br />

Technical Report no. 191 (1997) NERI and Benzin i blodet - kvantitativ del (141 p.), Technical Report<br />

no. 200 (1997) NERI. Tendenser i tiden – en sociologisk analyse af mobilitet, miljø og moderne<br />

1989-1992: Head of Administration at <strong>the</strong> Danish Centre of Human Rights (DCHR). Administrative<br />

responsibilities: Day-to-day running of centre administration, staff administration, administration of<br />

budgets and accounts, service of <strong>the</strong> board, assisting at centre activities etc. Specialist area: Develop-ing<br />

activities concerning environment and human rights.<br />

1987-1989: Scientific Assistant at <strong>the</strong> Department of Technology and Social Sciences at <strong>the</strong> Technical<br />

University of Denmark (DTU). From May 1987 to June 1988 as scientific assistant at <strong>the</strong> HOT project<br />

about technicians in <strong>the</strong> construction industry. Report: Tid, Teknologi og Kvalifikationer, scientific report<br />

from DTU and TL (1988). From June 1988 and forwards as replacement during maternity leave,<br />

external senior lecturer (course: Kvinder og Teknologi) and instructor (course: u-landskursus).<br />

1986-1987: Head of <strong>the</strong> educational department at ‘Statens Erhvervspaedagogiske Laereruddannelse’.<br />

Responsibilities: Co-ordinating administrative tasks and head of office staff at <strong>the</strong> educational department.<br />

1981-1984: Replacement for university lecturer at ‘Institut for Samfundsoekonomi og Planlaegning’,<br />

Roskilde University (RUC). Member of <strong>the</strong> research group under <strong>the</strong> AQUA project about women and<br />
