MAIN EMPLOYMENT
1994- : Senior Scientist in the Department of Policy Analysis, National Environmental Research
Institute. Member of the environmental sociology group, working with the theme: Mobility and modern
man, seen from a sociological perspective. Main works: Benzin i blodet - kvalitativ del (130 p.),
Technical Report no. 191 (1997) NERI and Benzin i blodet - kvantitativ del (141 p.), Technical Report

1989-1992: Head of Administration at the Danish Centre of Human Rights (DCHR). Administrative
responsibilities: Day-to-day running of centre administration, staff administration, administration of
budgets and accounts, service of the board, assisting at centre activities etc. Specialist area: Develop-ing
activities concerning environment and human rights.
1987-1989: Scientific Assistant at the Department of Technology and Social Sciences at the Technical
University of Denmark (DTU). From May 1987 to June 1988 as scientific assistant at the HOT project
about technicians in the construction industry. Report: Tid, Teknologi og Kvalifikationer, scientific report
from DTU and TL (1988). From June 1988 and forwards as replacement during maternity leave,
external senior lecturer (course: Kvinder og Teknologi) and instructor (course: u-landskursus).
1986-1987: Head of the educational department at ‘Statens Erhvervspaedagogiske Laereruddannelse’.
Responsibilities: Co-ordinating administrative tasks and head of office staff at the educational department.

1981-1984: Replacement for university lecturer at ‘Institut for Samfundsoekonomi og Planlaegning’,
Roskilde University (RUC). Member of the research group under the AQUA project about women and
automation of offices. Report: "...men vi grinede mere dengang", scientific report from RUC (1984).
(Other members: Bertha Lysgaard, Karen Sjoerup and Kirsten Thomsen).
1978-1981: Principal at the Department of System Planning, at the National Association of Local
Authorities in Denmark (NALAD). Specialist areas: The Data protection Act, computer training,
