Before the 1990s, bombers delivered unguided payloads, with the large number of bombs dropped<br />

compensating for poor accuracy. Bombers began employing precision guided munitions (PGMs) in the<br />

1990s and contributed significantly to recent precision strike campaigns. For example, in the first eight<br />
