1 – sIte seLectIon
Choosing where to build is an important first step. Whether your home site is in one of our luxury
estate communities, an inner city property, your favorite community or acreage our architects and
designers will analyze the home site as inspiration, uniting the views, landscape and other
environmental influences into the design. If you have not found the perfect location yet, we work with
a team of licensed real estate agents that know the Calgary area well; they will assist you in finding the
perfect spot to build your dream home.

2 – structuraL desIGn
Our custom luxury homes embody the values that mean the most to you, seeking inspiration from
your life, your loves and your dreams to create a home unlike any other. Our Architectural Designer
will be the conduit to transform your vision to the perfect plan; we believe your home should be a
reflection of those things you hold closest to your heart.

3 – InterIor desIGn
Our Interior Design Consultant will integrate bespoke colourings, textures, materials, places and even cherished memories
to key elements of your dream home. From personality comes a personal touch, whether it is subtle customizations or bold
statements all can be produced to your personal specification.

It is important to establish your budget early and evaluate where you are at often. Our in-house
estimating and planning team will help you prioritize your desires for your home to fit within your
budget. Our clients can be confident that they will get the home they want within their budget.
4 – BudGetInG

5 – constructIon
It is now time to sit back and watch your dream become a reality. You have spent many hours with
our Design Team ensuring we have captured your vision and coordinated your selections. Our
Estimating and Planning Team will prepare your file for the field. Prior to start of construction and at
several milestones during construction you will meet with our construction team to discuss the details
and progress of your build.

6 – customer care and Warranty
At New West we have a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction; we want you to be delighted
with your home from the day you move in and for many years to come. Along with New West’s one
year Builder Warranty on workmanship and materials; your home is also covered under The Alberta
New Home Warranty Program. This coverage provides two years on Distribution Systems (coverage
for defects in materials and labour related to delivery and distribution systems - e.g., heating electrical
and plumbing systems). There is also five years on the Building Envelope (this is coverage for defects
in the building envelope, which the Act defines as the system of components that separate the
controlled interior air from the exterior - e.g. roof and exterior walls). The structural integrity of your
home is covered by their 10 Year Structural Warranty (coverage for the key structural components of
your home – e.g., frame and foundation.

Included in our full range of services is the completion of your outdoor living space. Whether you
want a private oasis with stunning gardens, walkways; ponds and waterfalls, or a sports court to
accommodate that hockey rink or basketball net New West Landscapes has the expertise to make it
happen.
