The Australian College of Professionals conducts distance education tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g courses for people to complete the<br />
tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g program required to obta<strong>in</strong> a <strong>Certificate</strong> <strong>III</strong> <strong>in</strong> Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Adm<strong>in</strong>istration.<br />

Unique Student Identifier (USI)<br />
If you are a student study<strong>in</strong>g nationally-recognised tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g at a Registered Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Organisation like the Australian<br />
College of Professionals (ACOP) you are required to have a Unique Student Identifier from 1 st January 2015. The<br />
USI will give you ongo<strong>in</strong>g access to your records and results, so they are always available if you choose to enrol <strong>in</strong><br />
further tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g or need to show a future employer.<br />
A USI:<br />
▪ is made up of 10 numbers and letters, and<br />
▪ gives you access to an account that conta<strong>in</strong>s your tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g records and results from 1 st January 2015<br />
onwards, and<br />
▪ will help you provide evidence of your studies when you apply for a job or further study.<br />
Results from 2015 will be available <strong>in</strong> your USI account <strong>in</strong> 2016.<br />

Resources:<br />
For the completion of this qualification, students will require access to the <strong>in</strong>ternet <strong>in</strong> order to undertake additional<br />
research and ga<strong>in</strong> access to <strong>in</strong>ternet-based programs. In order to complete specific assessment tasks <strong>in</strong> this<br />
qualification, students will also need access to software applications for the creation of spreadsheets, development of<br />
visual presentations and general word process<strong>in</strong>g.
All students will be provided with a calculator to assist <strong>in</strong> the completion of the assessment tasks for specific f<strong>in</strong>ancial<br />
management modules.<br />

Outcomes:<br />
This qualification reflects the role of <strong>in</strong>dividuals who apply a broad range of adm<strong>in</strong>istrative competencies <strong>in</strong> varied<br />
work contexts, us<strong>in</strong>g some discretion and judgement. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.<br />
At the conclusion of the tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g course and the successful completion of all assessment tasks, you will have<br />
achieved:<br />
1. <strong>Certificate</strong> <strong>III</strong> <strong>in</strong> Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Adm<strong>in</strong>istration<br />
2. This qualification will assist you <strong>in</strong> mak<strong>in</strong>g application for positions such as:<br />
Accounts receivable clerk<br />
Accounts payable clerk<br />
Data entry operator<br />
Junior personal assistant<br />
Receptionist<br />
Office Adm<strong>in</strong>istration Assistant<br />
Office Adm<strong>in</strong>istrator<br />
Word Process<strong>in</strong>g Operator<br />
Enrolment Process:<br />
1. Complete our enrolment form. If you have any questions regard<strong>in</strong>g the form, please contact us.<br />
2. Return the form to our office together with the payment for the course.<br />
3. Once your enrolment and payment has been received we will post the learn<strong>in</strong>g materials to you.<br />
4. Read the materials and complete the assessment(s).<br />
5. Return the assessment(s) to our office.<br />
6. Your assessment(s) will be marked and if successful your <strong>Certificate</strong> and Statement of Atta<strong>in</strong>ment will be<br />
dispatched with<strong>in</strong> seven (7-10 bus<strong>in</strong>ess) days.<br />
Expectations:<br />
In order to meet the requirements of the course(s), you will need to complete all of the follow<strong>in</strong>g:<br />
Complete all competency assessments which will be undertaken throughout the course.<br />
Complete all take-home assessment tasks and return with<strong>in</strong> thirty (30) days after course completion or by the due<br />
date specified <strong>in</strong> your Distance Education Package letter (30 – 60 days depend<strong>in</strong>g on module)<br />
If these assessments are not returned by the due date, you will be marked as “Not Yet Competent” and may be<br />
required to attend the course aga<strong>in</strong> or be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learn<strong>in</strong>g. Both of these will <strong>in</strong>cur<br />
additional fees.<br />
If you require an extension to your due date, please contact the College to discuss your needs.<br />
Special Needs:<br />
If you have any special needs <strong>in</strong> relation to language, literacy or numeracy support, physical access, food and<br />
beverage or any other issue, please note this on your enrolment form and we will make every effort to meet your<br />
needs.<br />
Course Fees: $1,800 (Only available by Distance Education)<br />

The <strong>in</strong>itial payment of $900 must be received prior to the issue of any course materials.<br />
The second and f<strong>in</strong>al payment for the qualification is due and payable after the completion of the first six (6) modules.<br />
Course materials for the rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g modules will be issued after payment has been made.<br />
Tax Invoices/Receipts will be emailed as soon as each payment is received, to the address specified by the student<br />
on the enrolment form.<br />
All payments can be made by cheque, money order credit card.<br />

The College provides Centrel<strong>in</strong>k-approved courses that job-seekers look<strong>in</strong>g to work <strong>in</strong> bus<strong>in</strong>ess may complete as part<br />
of their Employment Pathway Plan (EPP). Your Job Services Provider (JSP) will determ<strong>in</strong>e whether you are eligible<br />
for fund<strong>in</strong>g to complete this course.<br />

To Enrol:<br />
1. Select the course you would like to attend<br />
2. You or your JSP will need to complete and return the Enrolment Form (a tax <strong>in</strong>voice will be emailed on<br />
receipt of the Enrolment Form)<br />
3. Your JSP will need to provide a Purchase Order prior to the commencement of the course<br />
4. Once a Purchase Order has been received by the College, both you and your JSP will receive confirmation of<br />
your enrolment via email.<br />
