Welcome to Calvary Chapel St. George!
We are blessed that you have joined us today. This ministry booklet is
meant to give you a brief introduction to some of the ministries in the
body of Christ here at CCSG. The vision of this church is found in
Ephesians 4:12-13:
…for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying
of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man,
to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
We like to say we are a living breathing body of Christ, the head of
which, according to Colossians 1:18, is Jesus Christ!
We are an amazing church filled with young adults, young families with
small children or no children, single moms and dads, single individuals,
families with teenagers, empty nesters and those a little more seasoned
then others! We love to worship, study the Word of God, have true
fellowship, taking communion in remembrance of what Jesus has done
for us, and of course pray together.
We hope you enjoy your visit with us. Please take time to fill out the
ministry slip in the bulletin and then the “Connect at Calvary” form in
this booklet to get more information about ministries and to get
connected.

Mission Statement:
Connect new believers with Jesus, with the Word of God
and the Body of Christ. Pray and intercede for all those
who seek the Lord.
Vision Verse:
“As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named
Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to
him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.”
Matthew 9:9
Who are we?
We believe that Jesus exhorts us to pray for each other
and that the bible confirms this through scripture.
Therefore, we follow Phil. 4:6-7 “in everything by prayer
and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be
made known to God; and the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.
When and where?
After every service both at the church and all outreach
events.

BAND OF
BROTHERS
Mission Statement:
To share each other’s burdens while encouraging and
lifting each other up. Seek the council of Jesus Christ
while holding each other accountable.
Vision Verse:
“Share each others burdens and in this way
obey the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
Who are we?
A band of men who are working through the difficult times
of life and living in this world who have a desire to
fellowship with Jesus and other like-minded men.
(1 John 1:7)
What we believe:
The Lord Jesus Christ is THE answer we all need and
whose purpose is to save, heal and guide us with the
power of His Word, His Holy Spirit and through prayer.
When and where?
We meet the 1 st and 3 rd Friday evening of every month
from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Mission Statement:
"Some wish to live within the sound of church and chapel
bells; we want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."
Vision Verse:
"Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house,
that behold, many tax collectors and sinner came and sat
down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees
saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher
eat with tax collectors and sinners?" When Jesus heard
that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need
of a physician, but those who are sick.

Who are we?
Bible believing Christian street motorcycle riders willing to
evangelize and serve others for the gospel of Christ.
When and where?
Currently meets the second Sunday of each month at 1:30
PM in the multi-purpose room at Calvary Chapel St George.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is dually focused. We aim to equip the saints
“for the work of the ministry” by providing Bibles and
Christian literature in the bookstore. As a result we are
able to turn those proceeds into gift Bibles for the many
outreach events that Calvary Chapel St. George offers to
the community, as well as to the many visitors who come
through the doors of the church building.
Vision Verse:
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a
cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the
sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with
endurance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1
When and where?
The bookstore is located in the East Commons area of the
church, and we are open whenever the church is open.
Tuesday – Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, and Sundays/Wednesdays
before and after services.

Bookstore
Video Rental Ministry
Mission Statement:
We aim to provide family friendly, edifying, and faith-bolstering
entertainment to the body of Christ here at Calvary Chapel St.
George by offering a selection of DVD’s that address all
facets within the family and church body; from Apologetics to
recently released Faith-based Feature Films to the latest
SuperBook videos for the kids.
Vision Verse:
“…how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it
to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,
testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward
God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” –Acts 20:20-21
When and Where?
The video rental library is located in the bookstore at Calvary
Chapel St. George, which is located in the East Commons
area of the church. We are open whenever the church is
open: Tuesday – Friday 9-5:30, and Sundays and
Wednesdays before and after services.
A $5 refundable deposit is required for rental.

Brookdale Southgate
Bible Fellowship
Mission Statement:
Sharing the love of Jesus with the residents of
Brookdale Southgate Assisted Living Home.
Vision Verse:
“Now also when I am old and gray headed,
O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength
to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.”
Psalm 71:18
Who are we?
We are a group of believers who desire to provide a time
and place of worship, teaching and fellowship for the
residents of Brookdale Southgate Assisted Living Facility.
We do this through room visits, assisting residents to and
from the worship services, offering special events on
holidays and monthly events like ice cream socials.
When and where?
Every Sunday afternoon 3:00pm at Brookdale Southgate.

Needs” Board that will enable the body of Christ to
effectively minister to one another.

What is it?
A simple ministry that consists of Bulletin Boards in the
East Commons Area, just past the Bookstore and to the
right of the Coffee Ministry that Christians can post their
information. There are two Boards:

Where and when?
Please submit the information you would like to post to our
church office with some simple information. To try and
keep the information current, it can be posted for 6 months
at which time it will be removed and you can repost it.

Mission Statement:
To provide an exciting time of age appropriate and
interactive bible teaching that makes God’s word come to
life. We believe the bible should NEVER be boring!
Vision Verse:
“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the
kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them,
and blessed them.
(Mark 10:15-16)
What is it?
CBC is an exciting environment designed to teach children
biblical, moral principles and values and how to apply
these in their everyday lives. We use a variety of different
rotations and activities so the kids aren’t just sitting
through another ‘lesson” after being in school all day long.
When and where?
We meet each Wednesday in the Multi-Purpose Room at
the same time as the adult service: 7:00PM

To provide opportunities for the body of Christ to grow in
the knowledge of Christ and the Word and be equipped
that we might be imitators of Christ.

Who are we?
We are members of the Body who enjoy teaching others.
Christian growth is an action and takes individual effort
and commitment but the rewards are worth it.
When and where
Different Classes and Series offered throughout the year.

A “Passport for Christian Growth” provides a
recommended list of books to read to mature in our faith.

Mission Statement:
The purpose of Creation Calls Ministry is to glorify our
Creator God, Elohim, by presenting creation and science
with a Biblical Christian World View with His love to the
world He loves.
Vision Verse:
“The Mighty One, God the LORD, Has spoken and called
the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down. Out
of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.”
Psalm 50:1–2
Who are we?
Believers that advocate, educate and celebrate God’s
creation and loving challenge the evolution deception.
We do this by establishing an experiential Creation
Discovery Center near Zion National Park, maintaining a
vibrant interactive website, and providing Creation
Evangelism training.
When and where?

Mission Statement:
Provide a means for the body to be served and engage in
fellowship
Vision Verse:
"distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality."
Romans 12:13
Who are we?
We want to enable what the bible states in Hebrews
10:25, that we are not to forsake the assembling of
ourselves together. This ministry gives people an
opportunity to fellowship, connect and build relationships.
When and where?
Prior to and after every service in the East Commons.
There is no charge, however, donations are accepted.

Facility Cleaning Ministry
Mission Statement:
The main focus of the cleaning ministry is to work unnoticed to
glorify God by insuring the house of God
is clean, in order and free from distraction,
so the worship of the people will be unhindered
like we see in 2 Kings 23:1-8.
Vision Verse:
"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before
men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward
from your Father in heaven… But when you do a charitable
deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is
doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your
Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly."
Matthew 6:1-4
Who are we?
Believers who want to serve the Lord.
When and where?
There are two rotations of cleaning groups, one
Wednesdays and one Saturdays. A team works together
on a “one month on and two months off rotation.”

Mission Statement:
To care for and maintain the property and facilities the
Lord has provided for us that He may be glorified!
Vision Verse:
“Now it happened after this that Joash set his heart on
repairing the house of the LORD.” 2 Chronicles 24:4
Who are we?
Believers, both skilled and non-skilled, who know that the
physical condition of the place of worship often represents
the spiritual condition of the people inside the place of the
worship.
When and where?
There are most always things that need maintenance
and repair in or around the church facility.

Graphic Design Ministry
Mission Statement:
The Graphic Design Ministry combines art and technology
to enhance the communication of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Vision Verse:
“And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in
understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
to design artistic works…” Exodus 31:3–4
What is it?
The Graphic Design ministry enhances the communication
of the gospel through a variety of communication tools
such as print design, live multimedia presentations, web
presence, and social media.
When and where?
Volunteers work throughout the week, before, during and
after services and events, preparing print material and
multimedia presentations; creating videos; creating,
enhancing and updating websites; and communicating
the gospel and ministry opportunities and events
via social media.

Mission Statement:
To be the first point of contact for all those that enter the
church showing the love of Christ with a handshake,
a smile and a helping hand.
Vision Verse:
“The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet
you heartily in the Lord, with the church that is in their
house. All the brethren greet you.” 1 Corinthians 16:19-20
Who are we?
Believers who want to serve the Lord and “Greet the
friends by name.” 3 John 14
When and where?
Rotations are “one month on and two months off.”

Mission Statement:
The purpose of Hope Pregnancy Care Center is to provide
women and men with practical, emotional, and spiritual
support when facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy.
We are a compassionate, life-affirming Center that equips
our clients with accurate information so they can each
have an opportunity to make an informed, positive choice.
Who are we?
We are a non-profit, faith-based, 501(c)3 organization
affiliated with Care Net. Our services are free and
confidential which include: pregnancy tests, abortion
education, adoption information, parenting programs,
material resource assistance, referrals to community
services, post-abortion support group and sexual risk
avoidance/abstinence education presentations.

Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Hope Chest Thrift Store is to inspire and
nurture the human spirit–one person & one need fulfilled at a
time. It was formed to provide income to support the Hope
Pregnancy Care Center of St. George; provide a place for the
community to be able to purchase good, usable merchandise at a
reasonable price; offer opportunities for volunteers to participate
in a godly worthwhile cause; provide a place for the community to
donate good, usable items to support HPCC; and to be a light to
show God’s love.
Who are we?
The Hope Chest is a non-profit Thrift Store offering a variety of
items including clothing and shoes for every member of the
family, as well as, kitchenware, home décor, books, music,
furniture and more!
We will gladly accept your donations anytime during store hours.
Our thrift store has always been about PEOPLE. We’re
passionate about improving the lives of people who come to the
Hope Chest. When we are fully engaged, we connect with, laugh
with, and uplift the lives of our customers-even if just for a few
moments. It’s really about human connection. We care deeply
about all of this; our work is never done.

LANDSCAPING
MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To care for and maintain the property the Lord has
provided for us that He may be glorified!
Vision Verse:
“Then the LORD God took man and put him in the Garden
of Eden to tend and keep it.” Genesis 2:15
Who are we?
Believers who know that the physical condition of the
place of worship often represents the spiritual condition of
the people inside the place of the worship.
When and where?
There are weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual and
seasonal needs that are met by the servants in this
ministry.

Mission Statement:
CCSG’s Life Groups primary focus is to provide
meaningful fellowship with others as we first fellowship
with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3
Vision Verse:
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine
and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
Acts 2:42
What is it?
We have many types of Life Groups:
Senior, Young Adults, Young Marrieds, Marrieds
Geographical/Community, Youth Parent Fellowship & a
Parents Park Fellowship…
Where and when?
Life Groups meet during the week except Sundays and
Wednesdays. Life Group Information sheets are available
out on the Information Board with specific types, locations,
days and times.

Mission Statement:
To encourage and lift each other up in our relationship
with God and our spouses.
Vision Verse:
“Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love
his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it
that she respects her husband.” Ephesians 5:33
Who are we?
We are married couples whose marriages 1) need some
help; 2) are good, but want to be better; 3) are great and
want to stay that way, who desire to have fellowship with
others who need and desire the same by seeking the Lord
together!
When and where?
We meet the 1 st and 3 rd Thursday of the month from 7:00
to 8:30 at the church. There are two groups, the “Young
Marrieds” (20’s – 30’s, with/without kids) and the other the
more “seasoned” generation.

Mission Statement:
To take part of Christ’s Great Commission by sending,
supporting and going to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Who are we?
People who want to personally take part in the Great Commission
by being part of the Body of Christ by sending, supporting and
going ourselves to preach the gospel where the name of Christ
has not been heard. (Romans 15:20)
Where and when?
Pray Around the World – usually the 1 st Sunday of the Month
Core Groups – Each worker/area has its own core group that
supports them through Moral, Logistical, Prayer and Financial
support.
Short Term Trips – Mexico Trips Bi-Monthly, others annually.

Mission Statement:
To teach and refresh Christians, (new and old), giving
them a sound Biblical foundation for their faith.
Vision Verse:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of
God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16–17
What is it?
The New Believers class is an 8 topic course on the
basics of Biblical Christianity. All topics are studied by
discovering what the Word of God says about that topic.
Who is it for?
The class is open to those who consider themselves new
believers, seekers and believers who feel they may have
gaps in their study abilities and belief system.
When and where?
We serve dinner at our home at 6:00 pm on Tuesday
evenings and begin to study around 6:30. The class is
designed so that you can begin at any point. You simply
attend the session you missed the next time we teach it. If

Mission Statement:
To provide safe, compassionate and loving care for babies
and toddlers that enables parents to worship, and grow in
the grace and understanding of Jesus Christ with all their
heart, soul, mind and strength, knowing their children are
well cared for.
Vision Verse:
“Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch
them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.”
Mark 10:13
Who are we?
Servants, with or without children in the Nursery, who
understand the need and importance of providing safe,
compassionate and loving care for babies and toddlers
and want to serve the Lord to bless the parents by
blessing their children.
Where and when?
Volunteers serve one service each Sunday or Wednesday
per month.
For monthly services such as “Pray Around the World” and
Church Prayer, volunteers serve “one month on, two
months off.”

Mission Statement:
Our calling is to bring both the Love of Christ
and the Word of God to those in prison.

“So if the Son sets you free, You are free indeed.”

Who are we?
A group of men Jesus Christ has set free from the
bondage of sin and who now in gratitude, love, and
obedience minister to the incarcerated the Gospel of
God’s Grace -
The only Gospel that can truly set them free…
Where and when?
The Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane.

Mission Statement:
If we as believers and a church, love Jesus, the first thing we
will do is feed the children the word of God! (John 21:15)
Vision Verse:
…"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them;

whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms,
put His hands on them, and blessed them.” (Mark 10:13-16)
What is it?
Children’s Sunday School is a place where children from 4
Years old – 6 th Grade learn Biblical truths, principles and
values in a loving environment as they are taught about
the love of Jesus Christ with lessons structured around
reading through the bible. A typical Sunday includes:
Worship, Bible Teaching, Interactive Application Time,
Crafts, Games, Memory Verses, Snack…
When and Where?
Sunday School Teachers, Assistants and Helpers, serve
1 st or 2 nd Service on a rotation of “one month on, two
months off.”

Mission Statement:
To protect worship and people both physically and
spiritually. Our service helps enable worship to occur
effectively by providing order and stability and by
eliminating all distractions that may interfere with the
worship service.
Vision Verse:
“And, according to the order of David his father, he
appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, the
Levites for their duties…and the gatekeepers by their
divisions at each gate; for so David the man of God had
commanded.” 2 Chronicles 8:14
Who are we?
Men who desire to fulfill the Biblical responsibility
of Gatekeepers like that of the Levites.
When and where?
You serve at one service each week on a rotation of
“one month on, one month off.”

Young Adult Ministry
Mission Statement:
We are a gathering of people seeking truth,
And our authority and source of truth is the Word of God.
Vision Verse:
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6
What is it?
Our meetings are a place where we have a time to hang
out, sit, talk, worship the Lord and discuss the truth of
God’s Word. In such volatile times where “truth” means so
many different things to so many people, our desire is to
reflect the light of Jesus into our community and that they
would know that He is the way (via), truth (veritas), and
the life (vita).
Who are we?
Veritas is for adults 18-29
When and where?

Men’s Monthly Breakfasts
Mission Statement:
To provide a monthly time of “breaking bread” with other
men over breakfast and spending time studying and
applying God’s Word to our lives that we may all “Walk
with God” on a daily basis.
Vision Verse:
“This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man,
perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.”
Genesis 6:9
Who are we?
Guys who want to grow as Men of God.
When and where?
We usually meet 7-9 am, the first Saturday of each month
(November – June).

Mission Statement:
Women’s ministry exists to build women up in their
personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the
teaching of God’s word, fellowship and prayer.
Vision Verse:
“And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.”
Luke 1:46–47
What is it?
Women’s ministry primarily consists of weekly Ladies
Bible Studies through the school year and faith building
fellowship annual events such as the Christmas Ladies
Boutique & Brunch and our Spring Ladies Tea. We also
have visitations, meals and other ministries.
Where and when?
Ladies Bible Studies at the Church
(October – May)
Tuesday Evenings 6:00 p.m.
Thursday Mornings 10:00 a.m.

Mission Statement:
Word of God Speak was created to take the Gospel to the
highways and byways of our state, surrounding states and
around the world that all might come to the saving
knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Vision Verse:
“Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the
highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that
my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23
What is it?
Word of God Speak TV Ministry shares our Sunday
Morning Services on KCSG by dividing each Sunday’s
worship and teaching time into two portions; creating two,
one half hour programs. It can also be found on the
internet at http://www.wordofgodspeak.tv/
Where and when?
Word of God Speak airs each Sunday at 7:00 a.m. on
KTMW “TV 20” reaching Utah and parts of Nevada,
Wyoming and Idaho.

Worship Audio/Visual Ministry
Mission Statement:
To provide the technical support necessary to enable a
live worship service, broadcast it, and to archive it thus
allowing people in the sanctuary or around the world to

Running Sound, Lighting, Recording & Camera Boards
Operating computers with programs that provide
overheads, worship lyrics, videos and teaching aids; also
livestreaming, uploading/archiving services & much more!
When and where?
You serve before, during and after weekly services,
community outreaches and special events.

Men and women who desire to sing to Him a new song;
and play skillfully with a shout of joy. (Psalm 33:3)

We provide worship for weekly worship services,
community outreaches and special ministry events as

of God, Spirit led thoughtful worship of the LORD
engaging our culture with the heart of Jesus, and real life
opportunities to serve as the body of Christ both here and

challenges, tribulations or temptations may come.

What is it?
We are the Junior and Senior High (7-12 grades) Ministry
of Calvary Chapel St. George. We also have an involved
Youth Parent Fellowship ministry.
When and Where?
We meet every Sunday at 11:00am, and Wednesdays at
7:00pm in rooms 100/101 at Calvary Chapel St. George.
Youth Parent Fellowship meets 2 nd /4 th Friday of the Month.
