HMS BELFAST
Permanently moored on the River
Thames, this ship is Europe’s only surviving

HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT
The site of British Parliament since 1265, the
neo-gothic building was constructed in the
19th century. Hear Big Ben chime in its clock
tower and watch debates for free from the Public
Galleries. Guided and audio tours run every Sat
and most weekdays (check times and days before
your visit). Guided tour £25; child £10. Audio

THE JEWEL TOWER
Built around 1365 to house Edward III’s
treasures, this is one of only two buildings left
from the medieval Palace of Westminster after

KENSINGTON PALACE
This royal residence sits in Kensington Gardens
and was Princess Diana’s last home. To 29 Feb:
Fashion Rules: Dresses from the Collections of
HM The Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana,
Princess of Wales. Exhibition of dresses exploring
how royal figures represented the spirit of each
