BARman Laser : The portable data-entry system wich is reliable and
user-friendly
• Portable and cordless. That means more flexibility for you. Its
small size allows you to take it with you anywhere : to the office, as well
as when you visit a customer or one of your suppliers. Carry it in your
hand, in your pocket or fasten it to your belt.
• Easy to program. BARman Laser is easy to program, too. BARman
Laser can be programmed using either the «C» language or AXEL, which
makes it fully compatible with the complete BARman product range.
• Reliable. You can complete or modify existing data at any time. You
can check or change them. Once read, the data are sent to your computer
and transmitted even if your computer is busy doing something else at
that time.
• Easy to operate. BARman requires no knowledge of computers.
• User-definable. Every BARman Laser reader can be loaded with a
special program. Hardware is automatically recognized by its interface.
Further more, it can also be protected by a password security system,
and receive personal messages.
• Time-management. Time and date of every single reading
operation is automatically registered thanks to its built-in clock.
• Independent. BARman Laser does not need to be plugged in to
store input information. Thanks to its integrated battery and memory
data can be stored for up to thirty days, and the user can choose when to
transmit them.
Easy programming
AXIOME has developed a range of software making easier the programming
of BARman Laser as well as the communication with a computer.
• Programming. BARman Laser can be programmed using either the
«C» language or AXEL which makes it fully compatible with the complete
BARman range of products. Both compilers are available.
• Communication. A complete range of reliable and easy to use
software available for the transfer of data (bi-directional) between
computer and the interfaces. These software are the same for BARman
and BARman Laser, that is :
BARmanager with integrated communication, data base and user
interface.
BAROLE to integrate the BARman Laser communication in any Windows
application.
BARman Laser-interfaces-computer, the complete bar-code recognition system
that is programmable as well as able to transfer and receive data.

in the data on the keyboard and put BARman Laser onto its interface. The
data (either recognized or typed in) is transfered directly into your computer
