6. The BID has consulted with a wide range of stakeholders in relation to a future<br />

BID for <strong>Loughborough</strong> town centre. All of the stakeholders have returned a<br />

positive response. The table below outlines the consultation that has taken<br />

place and supports the position of the BID going forward for a second term.<br />

Council and BID Responsibilities.<br />

7. The Council has a role to play when responding to a BID proposal in line with<br />

BID legislation as a billing authority, as a land owner, occupier in the BID area<br />

and as a ballot holder. All of the Council’s responsibilities have been<br />

considered and are documented within this report with delegated<br />

arrangements outlined to support this work within the required timelines<br />

supported by the <strong>Cab</strong>inet recommendations.<br />
