Events with expected participation levels of 500 persons or more require the rental of the back field of Legion Stadium, which is adjacent to the trail. Fees for use of Legion will be in addition to the fees for use of the trail Rental Requirements: Signed, notarized agreement as well as event insurance. ORANGE STREET LANDING Orange/Water Street Located right on the Riverfront, at the foot of Orange Street, this park is a good place for a small event. RENTALS PICNIC SHELTER RENTAL RESERVE ONLINE WILMINGTON<strong>RECREATION</strong>.COM These are great locations to host parties, family reunions or other functions. Picnic Shelters are available for rental at Empie Park, Maides Park, Robert Strange Park/MLK Center and Halyburton Park. There are many other parks in the City that have picnic shelters that are available on a first come first served basis. Please see our Parks Guide on page 4 for a list of all city parks and amenities offered at each park.
