ABOUT THE DANIEL TRUST FOUNDATION MENTORING PROGRAM
In December of 2014, we created the Daniel Trust Foundation Mentoring Program to help high
school juniors and seniors who are from disadvantaged communities prepare for college and the
real world. Students who are enrolled in this program receive support with searching and
identifying employment opportunities, we teach them about financial literacy and how to
manage their personal finances, we help them obtain their learner’s and driver’s permit, we write
them letters of recommendations, we proof read their college and scholarship essays, we take
them on college tours and so much more.

OUR MENTORING PROGRAM IMPACT
6 high school seniors currently participate in our mentoring program. These students attend
Bassick High School and Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
