All trees at Sagvatnet are less than 150 years old. Most<br />

are under 100 years old. All are naturally regenerated.<br />

Previously coastal moor from Bronze Age until decline in<br />

grazing pressure associated with mass (voluntary)<br />

emigration in the later 19th and early 20th centuries.<br />
