GIVE TO THE WORLD MISSION OFFERING To share the gospel around the world . . . 50% will support over 5200 International Mission Board missionaries who share the hope of Jesus Christ among the 6,426 unreached people groups and the 1.7 billion people who still live and die with little or no access to the Gospel. To share the gospel in the unreached areas of North America . . . 20% will help the North American Mission Board start churches in North America which has over 255 million people who do not have a relationship with Christ. To feed starving people around the world . . . 10% will go to the SBC’s World Hunger Fund. One person in twelve is malnourished, including 60 million children under the age of 5. Every 3.6 seconds someone in the world dies of hunger. To send members out from our church . . . 10% will help send our members on mission trips. To provide residential care for orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected children . . . 5% wiil go to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. TBCH accepts no government funds so that its ability to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children is not restricted. To reach the 3 million unchurched in the state of Tennessee . . . 5% will support church planting and ministry within multi-family housing units through the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Gifts can be given to World Mission Offering Year Round. A special celebration and offering for World Missions will be taken on February 27. PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES • To consistently submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. • To love God with all their hearts, souls, and minds. • To faithfully spend time in God’s Word and prayer every day. • To see how God is working around them and join in with God’s work. • To be protected from spiritual warfare in its many forms. • To experience a ‘hedge of protection’ built by God around them and their families. • To boldly share the saving message of Jesus Christ in an appropriate manner. • To be comforted with a constant sense of God’s presence.
