HOW IT WORKS<br />
Light is absorbed by pigment in hair, which is then converted to heat.<br />
The hair shaft conducts the heat down the hair follicle to the stem cells<br />
that are responsible for hair growth, which are then destroyed by the<br />
heat.<br />
Permanent destruction to the follicle can only occur if the hair is in the<br />
active growing phase (Anagen). <strong>Hair</strong>s treated in the Catagen or Telogen<br />
phase will only retard the hair, which is why several treatments will be<br />
required.
