Corporate gifts with something wild
CHRISTMAS

ONE of the most stressful times of the
year is Christmas shopping, and it’s even
more stressful when you have to organise
corporate gifts for staff or clients.
Featherdale Wildlife Park recognises
the challenges for businesses and individuals
struggling to get the Christmas shopping
done in time. Now the park is offering Annual
passes as a ‘Wild’ idea for Christmas.
Family, adult and child passes are available
from $47.00. If passes are ordered before
December 18, they can be delivered in time
for Christmas.
These passes can be purchased online at
www.featherdale.com.au/annual-passes or
direct at the park.
The popular Featherdale Wildlife Park is
located in Doonside, away from the bustle of
the city yet close enough for visitors to travel
from all over North Western Sydney.
Home to over 2,200 Australian native
animals from more than 260 different species,
Featherdale is a place where children and
adults can get up close and personal with Aussie
favourites such as koalas, wombats, emus
and kangaroos.
Among them is Archer, the koala who just
celebrated his second birthday. Hand reared
by the park’s head keeper, Chad Staples, after
his mother abandoned him. Archer has been
voted the cutest animal in Australia and has
even his own Facebook page!
Koala encounters run all day at the Park.
These include the opportunity to pat some
furry favourites free of charge. Featherdale
Wildlife Park is the only Wildlife Park in
Sydney to offer this amazing privilege.
There are also many opportunities at
the Park to interact with some feathery and
furry creatures.
Visitors also get a chance for just $1
a bag to hand feed the kangaroos and
koalas. At the Rapt in Reptiles session,
visitors can hold a python or lizard; and
there are many chances to hear the keepers
talk about other animals such as echidnas;
Ngukurr, crocodile; fairy penguins,
pelicans, flying foxes and dingoes as they
go about the daily feeding programs.
Featherdale is a family experience with
some great facilities to either eat at an onsite
café, or enjoy the day out in the shady picnic
areas – all equipped with BBQ facilities.
The park is open from 9am to 5pm

Stockland aquires warehouse site
INDUSTRIAL
The ever popular Featherdale Wildlife Park.
STOCKLAND has agreed to acquire
a 23,000 square metre warehouse and
distribution centre on a 4.3 hectare site at 23
Wonderland Drive, Eastern Creek.
“Our acquisition of this site is in line
with our strategy to grow our logistics and
business parks portfolio and increase our
exposure in key locations,” said John Schroder,
group executive and CEO commercial
property, Stockland
The building, constructed in 2004, comprises
a modern warehouse and freight terminal
together with a two storey office building
with a total gross lettable area (GLA) of
23,081 square metres.
The site is located within the growing
industrial precinct of Eastern Creek,
which is regarded as one of Sydney’s premier
locations for transport and logistics
facilities due to its excellent access to the
M7 and M4 Motorways. The facility is
suitable for a variety of warehousing and
distribution operations and is currently
leased to DHL
Stockland will acquire the property from
McDonald Bros Holdings Pty Limited for
in an off market transaction in a transaction
brokered by CBRE
Developers Barry and John McDonald
paid $23.75 million for the industrial facility
in 2009 when they bought it from an Australand
fund
