The boats are constructed in GRP and have a low freeboard to facilitate rescue operations. Norsafe<br />
rescue boats are self-bailing, with ample deck space, self-righting system and sturdy foam-filled fenders.<br />
The boats are typically supplied with diesel inboard motors, water jet and stern drive propulsion units are<br />
available. Norsafe can also supply single or multiple petrol outboard engines. Each boat can be supplied<br />
with a specially developed davit, shock absorbing function as standard and possibilities for high speed<br />
retrieval and motion compensation. This allows heavy weather operation from the mother ship.<br />
