Deuteronomy 18:10-11—There shall not be found among you any one that . . . consults<br />

Wicked Sacrifices<br />
Psalm 106:36-37—And <strong>the</strong>y served <strong>the</strong>ir idols which were a snare unto <strong>the</strong>m. Yea, <strong>the</strong>y<br />
sacrificed <strong>the</strong>ir sons and <strong>the</strong>ir daughters unto devils.<br />
Idols<br />
Psalm 115:4-8—Their idols are silver and gold, <strong>the</strong> work <strong>of</strong> men’s hands. They have mouths,<br />
but <strong>the</strong>y do not speak; eyes <strong>the</strong>y have, but <strong>the</strong>y do not see; <strong>the</strong>y have ears, but <strong>the</strong>y do not hear; noses<br />
<strong>the</strong>y have, but <strong>the</strong>y do not smell; <strong>the</strong>y have hands, but <strong>the</strong>y do not handle; feet <strong>the</strong>y have, but <strong>the</strong>y do<br />
not walk, nor do <strong>the</strong>y mutter through <strong>the</strong>ir throat. Those who make <strong>the</strong>m are like <strong>the</strong>m. So is everyone<br />
who trusts in <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
Isaiah 2:8, 18—Their land also is full <strong>of</strong> idols . . . and <strong>the</strong> idols he [God] shall utterly abolish<br />
[destroy].<br />
Deuteronomy 12: 3—Tear down <strong>the</strong>ir altars and smash <strong>the</strong>ir sacred stone pillars . . . chop<br />
down <strong>the</strong>ir idols so that <strong>the</strong>y will never again be worshipped.<br />
Judges 2:17—But <strong>the</strong> Israelites paid no attention to <strong>the</strong>ir leaders. Israel was unfaithful to <strong>the</strong><br />
Lord and worshipped o<strong>the</strong>r gods.<br />
Ezekiel 6:13—Then shall you know that I am <strong>the</strong> Lord, when <strong>the</strong>ir slain men shall be among<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir idols.<br />
1 John 5:21—My children, keep yourselves from idols.<br />
Jeremiah 2:8—My priests did not know me, rulers rebelled against me. The prophets spoke in<br />
<strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong> Baal and worshipped useless idols.<br />
Astrology<br />
Isaiah 47:11,13—Therefore evil shall come upon you. . . . Let now <strong>the</strong> astrologers, <strong>the</strong><br />
stargazers, <strong>the</strong> monthly prognosticators, stand up and save you from <strong>the</strong>se things that shall come upon<br />
you [God’s wrath].<br />
Familiar Spirits<br />
Isaiah 29:4—Thou shall be brought down [God’s judgment], and shall speak out <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
ground, and your speech shall be low out <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> dust as <strong>of</strong> one that has a familiar spirit.
