It’s easy <strong>and</strong> free. When your <strong>HP</strong> Ink or LaserJet toner cartridge is empty, return it for recycling by going<br />
to hp.com/recycle for free return <strong>and</strong> recycling options or by using the pre-addressed, postage-paid label<br />
found in all <strong>HP</strong> LaserJet Toner cartridge boxes.<br />
The recycling process<br />
What happens when you return an Original <strong>HP</strong> print cartridge or any br<strong>and</strong> of computing hardware for<br />
recycling? Our state-of-the-art recycling facilities process each return through a multi-phase recycling<br />
process. No <strong>HP</strong> Print cartridge returned to <strong>HP</strong> Planet Partners is sent to l<strong>and</strong>fill. <strong>Product</strong>s are sorted <strong>and</strong><br />
shredded, then separated into plastics <strong>and</strong> metals which can then be used to make new metal <strong>and</strong> plastic<br />
products, such as <strong>HP</strong> cartridges <strong>and</strong> other everyday products. Any remaining material is disposed of or<br />
h<strong>and</strong>led responsibly through energy recovery.<br />
