Fisart 2015, (Festival Internacional Street
Art) tuvo lugar por quinta vez en la ciudad
de Timisoara. Esta ciudad rumana, situada al
oeste del país acoge todos los años este evento
cultural que pretende impulsar la visualización
y la aceptación del arte urbano entre sus
habitantes.
Queriendo realizar un giro de 180 grados,
este año, la dirección del evento se une a
Txemy, pintor y artista urbano como curador
y a Bali Green Agency como productora para
traer desde Barcelona a 9 artistas. Un grupo
ecléctico en el que participaban ilustradores,
artistas plásticos, diseñadores gráficos y
fotógrafos
Amaia Arrazola, Daniela Carvalho, Marga
Lopez, Javier de Riba y Maria López de
Reskate, Lauro Samblás, Iker Muro, Txemy
acompañados de Karina Hossack como
directora de Bali Green Agency y Apu Dick
como fotógrafo, fueron el equipo artístico
encargado de vivir, actuar y renovar Pasmatex,
una fábrica textil medio abandonada-medio
en vida que acogió a este dream team con
los brazos abiertos, haciéndoles formar parte
durante una semana de su vida. Convivivieron
con los obreros y obreras que todavía trabajan
allí, y que fueron los espectadores en primera
linea de cómo los muros blancos y sin vida se
trasnformaban en piezas murales.

DUCCIÓN
Gracias a la libertad artística que permitieron
tanto la organización del festival, como la
dirección de la fábrica fueron apareciendo muros
que iban desde el freestyle más puro, a collage
mural con materiales deshechados del mismo
Pasmatex, pasando por muros que se iluminan y
resplandecen en la oscuridad.
Un conjunto de piezas que seguían el leitmotif
del evento, “salga usted de la zona de confort”,
ya sea por la utilización de nuevos materiales, en
el tamaño de las paredes o en la dificultad de la
realización de las obras.
Una semana de vivencias y convivencia, llena
de anécdotas, cargada de risas, donde reinaba la
superación, y el buen rollo. Aprendieron qué era
Rumania, comieron, compartieron y vivieron
con sus habitantes. Fueron acogidos con cariño y
descubrieron una nueva cultura.

INTRO -
DUCTION
Fisart 2015 (International Street Art Festival)
took place for the fifth time in Timisoara. This
Romanian city in the West of the country
welcomes every year a cultural event, which
tries to promote the display and acceptance of
street art among citizens.
Trying to change the direction of this year’s
edition, the management of the festival joins
artist Txemy as a curator and Bali Green
Agency as the producer. Together they
collaborate bringing 9 artists from Barcelona
to Timisoara. An eclectic team that includes
illustrators, plastic artists, graphic designers and
photographers.
Amaia Arrazola, Daniela Carvalho, Marga
López, Reskate (Javier de Riba and María
López), Lauro Samblás, Iker Muro and Txemy
together with Karina Hossack as the Director
of Bali Green Agency and Apu Dick as a
photographer. This was the whole artistic team
in charge of living, working and renovating
Pasmatex, a half-abandoned textile factory that
embraced and made them feel part of the family
for one week. They got along with the factory
workers, who were the forefront spectators of
the factory’s transformation. Blank and lifeless
walls turned into mural works.
Thanks to the artistic freedom, that both
Festival and factory’s management allowed,
the building filled up with walls of diverse
styles. Street style, collage made whith
discarded materials from the factory and glow
in the dark illustrations covered the big walls
of Pasmatex. The works followed the festival’s
leitmotiv “abandon your comfort zone”.
Especially because of the use of new materials,
the size of the walls and development
difficulty of certain works.
Moreover, the team was able to get to
know a new country where culture and
were embraced affectionately. One week
of experiences, daily coexistence, selfimprovement
and good vibes.

FISART _ Reskate
Reskate Arts & Crafts es un estudio
gráfico y taller de Barcelona que produce
proyectos de carácter artesanal. Está
formado por María López (1980) y Javier
de Riba (1985), diseñadores gráficos e
ilustradores de Donostia-San Sebastián y
Barcelona respectivamente.
Realizan diseño gráfico, ilustración,
instalaciones y muralismo.
Desde su estudio tratan de servir
gráficamente a proyectos con el trato
manual que les caracteriza aprovechando
los medios que tienen a su alcance.
Como colectivo artístico les interesa
centrarse en los materiales para sacarles
la mayor expresividad posible. Creen
firmemente que la elección de un medio
no debe ser superflua y debe estar al
servicio del mensaje para amplificarlo.
Reskate Arts & Crafts is a workshop and
graphic arts studio from Barcelona that
creates handmade, artesanal projects.
Members Maria Lopez (1980) and Javier
de Riba (1985) - both graphic designers
and illustrators from Donostia-San
Sebastián and Barcelona respectively -
are primarily dedicated to projects which
include graphic design, illustration,
installations, and murals.
As Reskate Arts & Crafts, Maria and
Javier provide graphic services using their
distinctive handmade techniques, making
use of the means and materials they have
within reach.
As an artistic collective, they place
emphasis on the materials they choose in
order to make the most of their expressive
capabilities. They firmly believe that the
materials and techniques used must never
be gratuitous or excessive, and must
operate only as a vessel to convey and
amplify the underlying message

FISART _ Amaia Arrazola
Amaia Arrazola nacida en el pais vasco en
1984 ejerce como ilustradora en Barcelona
donde está asentada desde 2010, cuando dejó
Madrid lugar en el que había empezado su
carrera creativa en el mundo de la publicidad.
Esta no le acabó de satisfacer por completo así
que después de estar trabajando en la agencia
de publicidad Mccann Erickson durante 3
años, se centró en el dibujo y el diseño, razón
por la que se vino a vivir a Barcelona.
Estudió un Máster gracias a la beca Krea en
la escuela Elisava de Diseño y Comunicación.
Al acabar empezaron a surgirle proyectos y
colaboraciones gracias a los cuales empezó su
vida como freelance.
Desde entonces decidió que su vida estaría
consagrada al dibujo, a la creatividad, la
creación en todos sus ámbitos, ya sea por
medio de encargos profesionales o a través
de su obra personal, tanto en formato mural,
como en pequeño soporte.
Le gusta cualquier cosa que sea rápida y
espontanea, la cerámica, el bordado, la
serigrafía...
No se cansa de aprender y su sueño es poder
seguir viviendo así toda su vida.
Amaia Arrazoa a basque illustrator born in
1984, settled in Barcelona in 2010.
She worked in Mccann Erickson Agency
for three years but this activity didn´t fulfill
her completely so after deciding focusing on
drawing, illustration and design she decided
to go Barcelona to live.
She did a Master granted by Krea
in the Elisava School of Design and
Communication, at the end of which he
started getting projects and collaborations as
a freelance.
Since then she decided that her life would
be devoted to design, creativity and creation
in every field which she does by means of
comissioned work, personal projects wether in
big sizes or small sizes.
She likes everything which is rapid and
spontaneous, as well as pottery, embroidery,
silkscreening..
She doesn´t get tired of learning and her
dream is to keep in this mood all her life.

COLLABORATION
Siempre rodeado por actividades plásticas
y el hecho de conocer como forma de
vida lo que generan mis padres con
sus manos es mi educación de niño;
con 13 años abandono los estudios
comunes entre lo que son mis amigos e
ingreso en la escuela de Arte Fernando
Esteves de S/C de Tenerife y me titulo
en Delineación Artística, seguidamente
entro en la carrera de Bellas Artes en
la Universidad de La Laguna, donde
acabo años mas tarde en Universidad de
Barcelona, especializándome en Diseño.
La pintura es mi expresión más
importante y más fuerte, desde que que
conocí la historia del arte y sus pintores
enamoré de esta vida, me gusta mirar
atrás y ver que se ha hecho, muchos
murieron sin ser nada en vida, pero son
gigantes en la actualidad, así que en cierta
manera no me importa ser un gigante de
nuestro tiempo si soy fiel a lo que creo
que es el arte. Cada día tengo un plato
de comida frente a mi, gracias a pintura
y a mi persona; de momento me es
suficiente.
Una de las mejores cosas que me pueden
pasar es tener un error y aprender de este
aunque me joda.

His education was based on being
surrounded by artistic activities and the
fact that his parents lived a “handmade”
lifestyle. When Txemy was 13, he left
school (common studies), and joined
Fernando Esteves School Of Arts in Santa
Cruz of Tenerife, where he graduated as an
artistic draftsman. After that, he started his
degree in Fine Arts at the University of La
Laguna, and finished it in the University
of Barcelona, specialising in Design.
Painting is his most important and
strongest expression, since he studied
everything about History of Art and all the
great painters, Txemy fell in love with this
lifestyle. He likes to look back to the past
and see what has been done, a lot of the
great artists were never recognized during
their time, but they are very important
today. So in some ways, Txemy doesn’t
mind not being huge nowadays, if he stays
loyal to the way he understands art..

me is to make a terrible mistake and learn
from it, even though it really annoys me”

Bilbao 1979, Iker Muro nace con el
destino marcado en su nombre, ilustrador
y diseñador gráfico con más de 10 años
de experiencia desarrolla sus inquietudes
estéticas sobre paredes desde 2002.
Premiado con un LAUS en 2011
reconoce que cada vez más las paredes
y la pintura han ido desbancando al
ordenador, define su trabajo como
una combinación ácida de elementos
pop, diseño e ilustración. No oculta
sus influencias más evidentes como los
clásicos Dalí, MatI Klarwein, Moebius o
Mc Escher, maestros del lettering como
Tony Dispigna o Herb Lubalin, pero
también la admiración por Trochut,
San, Inocuo y una lista interminable de
creadores contemporáneos a los que debe
su afán de superación y motivación.
Born in Bilbao in 1979. Illustrator,
graphic designer and mural artist, with
more than 10 years of experience. He
was awarded in 2010 with the LAUS of
design and communication by FAD’s
Graphic Designers and Art Directors
National Association. He’s exhibited his
work in numerous cities such as New
York, London, Barcelona, Lisbon, Berlin,
Madrid and Miami, and has taken part in
many others in Los Angeles, Dakar, San
Francisco or Bilbao.
My plot is forcefulness and color. I
define my work as an acid combination
of pop elements where graphic design
and illustration collide, explode and get
mixed, resulting in murals that reflect
my aesthetic passions. Mucha’s art
nouveau, Dali’s surrealism, Moebius’
comics, Hanna & Barbera cartoons, Tony
Dispigna’s letterings, Herb Lubalin, Alex
Trochut, Inocuo, and so many other
artists and graffiti makers inspire and
motivate me to keep painting without
boundaries.

Daniela Carvalho, 1980, Lima- Perú.
Daniela Carvalho empezó su carrera
estudiando diseño gráfico y trabajando
para agencias de publicidad.
Desde el 2008 vive en Barcelona,
dedicándose al mundo del arte y la
ilustración, luego de estudiar la carrera
de arte en Lima y un postgrado de
Ilustración en Barcelona. Por esto, su
trabajo es un constante experimento de
técnicas y soportes, siempre en armonía y
delicados trazos, enfocándose mucho en
los detalles.
Daniela Carvalho started her career
studying graphic design and working
for advertisement agencies. Since 2008,
she lives in Barcelona and is dedicated
to the world of art and illustration,
after studying fine arts in Lima and a
postgraduate degree in illustration in
Barcelona. This is why her work is a
constant experiment of techniques and
medias, always in harmony, with delicate
strokes and a careful eye for details.

El artista Lauro Samblás centra su trabajo
en torno al collage. Actualmente, sus
ilustraciones de carácter tridimensional se
han convertido en esculturas.
Sus instalaciones crean una explosión
visual donde la publicidad y el arte
se dan la mano. Las ilustraciones son
composiciones conceptuales donde los
colores saturados y fluorescentes son
protagonistas.
El artista plasma en su obra su mundo
lleno de optimismo, locura y libertad.
Collage is the focal point in the work
of artist Lauro Samblás. Today, his
tridimensional illustrations have evolved to
become sculptural pieces.
In his installations - conceptual
compositions dominated by saturated and
neon colours – advertising and art come
together resulting in a visual outburst.
Samblás’ work reflects an inner world that
is full of optimism, craziness and freedom.

Me llamo Marga López, tengo 32 años y
soy de Barcelona. Estudié Bellas Artes y
Diseño y Estrategias de Comunicación.
Soy artista gráfica, ilustradora y muralista,
siempre compartiendo la producción
de proyectos personales con encargos
comerciales.
Trabajo en materiales como el papel,
la madera o el algodón. Mis trabajos se
convierten en una especie de orfebrería de
dos dimensiones, mediante finas líneas y
mucho detalle.
Ilustración y diseño gráfico se unen
en un sistema superpuesto de marcos,
geometrías orgánicas y módulos
repetidos, con una fuerte presencia de la
tipografía.
My name is Marga López, I’m 32 years
and native from Barcelona. I studied Fine
Arts, and Design and Communication
Strategies. I’m a graphic artist, illustrator
and muralist, always sharing the
production of personal projects with
commissioned work.
Working on materials such as paper, wood
or cotton, my artwork turns into some
sort of two-dimensional goldsmithing,
due to the use of extremely fine lines and
deft detail care.
Illustration and graphic design come
together in an overlapped system of
frames, organic geometries and repeated
modules, attaching great importance to
typography.

FISART _ Corina Nani
Corina Nani esta dibujando y pintando
desde antes de haber aprendido a leer
y escribir. Ella estaba conocida como la
niña que “hablaba dibujando”.
Para su education siguió escuela,
colegio y la universidad de bellas artes
y arquitectura. Desde niña participo en
eventos internacionales ganando varios
premios.
En actualidad es profesora en la
Facultad de Bellas Artes y Design de la
Universidad del Oeste – Timisoara.
Tiene un doctorado en artes visuales con
el titulo “El Cuerpo Humano, Metáfora
de la Sensualidad en el Design”. Es
iniciadora y organizadora del Festival
Internacional de Street Art de Timisoara
(FISART) que se esta llevando a cabo
todos los años comenzando con el 2011.
En el ano 2014 la Asociación Nacional
de Urbanistas de Romanía le otorgo
la Diploma de Excelencia para la
Regenaracion Urbana como homenaje a
su iniciativa de organizar y sus atividades
creativas relacionadas al FISART. Corina
Nani es miembro de la comisión de
estética urbana de la ciudad de Timisoara.
Corina Nani started drawing and painting
before having learned to read and write.
She was known as the girl who “spoke by
drawing”.
Her whole education in school, college
and university was oriented to fine arts
and architecture. Since her childhood
she participated in international events
winning several awards. At present she is
a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts and
Design of the University of the West -
Timisoara.
He holds a doctorate in visual arts with
the title “The Human Body, Metaphor of
Sensuality in Design”.
She is initiator and organizer of the
International Festival of Street Art of
Timisoara (FISART) that is taking
place every year since 2011. In 2014 the
National Association of Town Planners of
Romania awarded her with the “Diploma
of Excellence for Urban Regeneration” as a
recognition to her initiative in organizing
FISART and the related creative activities.
Corina Nani is a founding member of the
commission of urban aesthetics of the City
Hall of Timisoara.”
