Tying the knot abroad is becoming an increasingly<br />
popular option. If you are thinking of doing this please<br />
contact the appropriate country's embassy in England for<br />
advice on the formalities and documentation required.<br />

I am being married at Georgian House, my groom is<br />
Italian. He cannot speak English, he understands a little,<br />
would it be possible for me to interpret the ceremony<br />
to him in Italian?<br />

Unfortunately you would not be able to act as an<br />
interpreter for the groom. You must provide an<br />
independent interpreter who could be a family member<br />
or friend. The groom will need to repeat the words in<br />
English as well as in Italian.<br />

You can indicate your request for any extra certificates or<br />
commemorative certificates in the checklist. You must<br />
however remember to send the extra fee at the time of<br />
paying for your ceremony.<br />

In <strong>Lancashire</strong> we do not offer a rehearsal we do<br />
however issue all couples with a marriage checklist '<strong>Your</strong><br />
marriage ceremony in <strong>Lancashire</strong>'. By submitting the<br />
checklist back to your ceremonies officer she will be able<br />
to check your ceremony and discuss before the day any<br />
unique arrangements you have requested. Our highly<br />
experienced celebrants will guide you step by step<br />
through your day. The hotel co-ordinator will be able to<br />
help with room arrangements<br />
