3. More than one EAC Delegate may be elected to the<br />
NRHA Board of Directors from the same Affiliate.<br />
4. NRHA Regional Directors shall be elected on staggered<br />
term basis in order to have approximately 50% of the<br />
Regional Directors overlapping their second year of a twoyear<br />
term along with the first year of incoming newly<br />
elected Regional Directors.<br />
5. During the 2013 transition elections to staggered terms,<br />
the EAC may select which group will serve the first two year<br />
term and which group will serve an initial three year term.<br />
(c) The EAC Delegates elected to serve as Regional Directors on<br />
the NRHA Board of Directors, will comprise the EAC Executive<br />
Committee.<br />
1. The EAC Executive Committee shall elect a President and<br />
Vice President from its members.<br />
Section 3. Nominations<br />
(a) Candidate nomination criteria, as described in this document,<br />
shall be compiled into a “Nomination Guidelines” document<br />
for publication on the NRHA website and in the NRHA Reiner.<br />
(b) The open date and closing deadline of the nomination<br />
period will be unique to the date of each election conducted<br />
by NRHA.<br />
(c) Directors-At-Large/Vice President nominations:<br />
i. The Nominating Committee shall submit a list of candidates<br />
for Directors-At-Large/Vice President to the NRHA Board of<br />
Directors no less than ninety (90) days prior to the start of<br />
the annual election. Write-in candidate nominations shall<br />
be submitted to the NRHA office no less than sixty (60) days<br />
prior to the start of the annual election (Art. V, Section 3 of<br />
the Bylaws).<br />
ii. The Elections Administrator shall conduct the Annual<br />
Elections in accordance with the procedures contained within<br />
the board approved Election Administrator’s Manual.<br />
(d) Regional Director nominations:<br />
i. For Regional Directors, each Region’s nomination period<br />
shall close no sooner than ninety (90) days before the start<br />
of that respective region’s Affiliate Regional Championship<br />
(ARC) or other approved election dates for foreign Regional<br />
affiliates. Write-in candidate applications shall close no<br />
sooner than sixty (60) days before the start of that respective<br />
region’s ARC or other approved election dates for foreign<br />
Regional affiliates.<br />
ii. The Nominating Committee shall accept nominations<br />
up to the close of nomination deadlines for each regional<br />
election being conducted.<br />
iii. Regional Director Candidate nominations may be made<br />
by affiliates. Nominations must be made in the form of a<br />
letter upon affiliate letterhead and signed by an officer of<br />
