Welcome to our 12th Annual Arizona Fine Art EXPO!
Dear Art Patron,
Welcome to the ‘art world’ of the Arizona
Fine Art EXPO. A destination of juried
artists from across the globe; each artist
is provided with a working studio and
exhibition space to show and sell their
latest works of art.
This event is a family affair made up of
four partners, my brother, Dennis, his
wife, Judy, my husband, Roger and
myself. It is an honor to work side by
side with my family and I am proud
we are now observing our 12th Annual
Arizona Fine Art EXPO. Our second
family is made up of about 100 artists
and we are thrilled that they have
chosen to allow us the opportunity
to be a part of their art careers. The
camaraderie we share with all the artists
is special, as well as the camaraderie
they share with one another. I’ve
experienced first hand patrons
developing close friendships with the
artists and forming lasting friendships.
The EXPO experience offers patrons
unprecedented access to watch
renowned and award-winning artists,
up close and personal, looking into their
everyday lives and working environment.
The artists can be found passionately
sketching in pencil; charcoal and
pastels; sculpting and turning clay,
chiseling, carving and polishing stone;
welding metals, painting in all media,
delicately scraping scratchboard,
carving, staining and etching gourds;
weaving, soldering and designing
jewelry; sawing and etching wood,
assembling mosaics and much more.
Commissions are welcomed.
This event combines the aspects of a
juried fine art festival, the elements of
a gallery and the inner-workings of an
artist’s studio. The result is a unique
presentation of fine art that functions as
an educational tool for the public and
children in our communities.
We hope your visit is a learning
experience, as well as enjoyable and
filled with great memories and perhaps
you’ll find a piece of art to treasure
forever.
Open everyday, 10am to 6pm,
the EXPO offers 72 straight days of
“Art Adventure”.
Kind Regards,
Visit 120 studios filled with artists working and demonstrating their
techniques, creating original works of art—for 10 weeks!
Now in its 12th year, the EXPO features
100 renowned artists working in studios,
within 44,000 square-feet of tented
space, where guests have a rare chance
to meet the artists, see them in action
and learn about their inspiration
and techniques.
Attendees adore the 2-acre sculpture
garden; watching the colorful Koi
swimming and playing under the
cascading, splashing water falling from
natural rocks—sponsored by The Pond
Gnome. Patrons love connecting with
an artist, one-on-one, and returning to
watch the art in developmental stages
before their very own eyes.
This unique and educational experience
gives patrons a greater understanding
of the artists, their passion and their
wonderful formations of art. The EXPO
is where attendees can watch ‘Art being
Made in America’ and in Scottsdale,
Arizona. Other highlights include a lovely
café, artist book signings, live music in
the garden on weekends and more.
U.S. Veterans give us Freedom—
American Healing Arts Foundation gives them Hope!
As founder of the non-profit, 501c3
veteran charity, American Healing Arts
Foundation (AHAF), I’d like to thank our
great American Veterans. Post-traumatic
stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain
injury (TBI) and military sexual assaults
(MSA) remain high for both wounded
and uninjured soldiers, plus the suicide
and divorce rates continue to soar.
AHAF is about healing through the
arts and art therapy in a drug free
environment; giving veterans the
ability to interact with award-winning
instructors, witness their own creative
side, offer an art career opportunity and
exercise the power of rehabilitation. Art
is proven to be a great form of therapy
for victims.
Our major challenge is reaching veterans
to let them know of our program, plus
the need of volunteers, sponsors and
donations. We offer veterans free art
classes in painting, sketching, poetry, clay
sculpting, harmonica, jewelry classes and
more. These art classes are intended to
reunite veterans with their fellow veterans,
away from hospitals and the battlefield, in
a friendly peaceful drug-free environment.
Please give a special thank you to our
Board of Directors, Dennis and Judy
Long, Atalanta and Flo Blanding.
