Come Prepared to Learn, Leave Prepared to Succeed Visa Services The University assists all international students in obtaining Student Visas as per the standing rate at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The 2015 rates for students’ stands at 25$ for 3 months, 50$ for 6 months, 100$ for 12 months. These rates do not have any agent fees attached. We will also assist student who need to renew their visas as they continue their studies at the university. Security within Uganda Safety and security is always a big issue everywhere in Africa & the World. Uganda is one of the safest countries in Africa and Kampala is one of the safest capitals. You can move with ease day and night but precautions have to be taken late night.
