3. Ease of use still a barrier to adoption<br />
While the <strong>in</strong>dustry has def<strong>in</strong>itely made some progress, ease of use and customer<br />
experience are still lagg<strong>in</strong>g. Two-thirds of consumers experienced a challenge<br />
when us<strong>in</strong>g a new IoT device this year (see Figure 6). While this is down from 83<br />
percent last year, it is still far too high to drive adoption.<br />
