vision and takes an “out of the box” approach to ministry,
which appeals to all cultures and age groups. Since his
Special Guest – Apostle Anthony Moore
Anthony affectionately, known as “Duke”, received the baptism of the Holy
Ghost through the laying on of hands by Evangelist Betty B. Vines. Anthony
preached his first message at the age of sixteen for the Prayer Group of which
he was a part. Being on fire for the Lord at such a young age, Anthony, along
with other youth from the Prayer Group and the community, began singing
Gospel songs in their high school, which formed the Westhill Gospel Choir.
When God lead his grandmother to start a work in Stamford, CT, shortly
after Anthony left his choir and friends behind at St. Luke’s Church and
joined her in ministry. He has served in several capacities over the years.
Anthony remained faithful at Jesus Is Lord until God spoke again. Because
of his passion for the ministry and compassion, he opened his home
allowing new converts that had no place to stay live in his home while they
were recovering or being delivered from drugs, alcohol and other abusive
situations. While providing necessary operational shelter to help facilitate the
outreach ministries of the church, he discontinued his secular education plans to
help bare the burden and demands of ministry. On April 29, 1989, he was
elevated to the office of Elder and Evangelist with the laying on of hands by Pastor
Herlene F. Skeeter and Apostle E. Lee Trollinger, Jr. He willingly and faithfully
walked in this new position with humility and compassion to reach out for souls. On August 18, 2001, God used
Bishop Prophet Christopher T. Cox, Jr. of the Family Life Worship Center in Valley Streams, New York as Chief
Consecration to publicly affirm the call of Prophet upon Elder Anthony Moore’s life.
Prophet Anthony D. Moore has been a preacher of the gospel for 19 years; he was anointed to preach in November
1982 at the tender age of sixteen. He is committed to the belief that wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability
of our times. He travels this country as well as other countries around the world with the boldness of an
Evangelist, the wisdom of a Teacher and has been ordained to walk in the office of Prophet, determined to assist
in the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry.
Around the age of 25, while working diligently at building the ministry, Prophet Moore was attacked with Bell’s
palsy. You could actually see his face twisting and hear his voice slur as he preached the Word of God during a
telecast taping. The attack left him temporarily paralyzed on the right side of his body, thus hindering him from
fulfilling some of the many duties of ministry. This affliction brought him to a 24 hour-7 day and night, time of
fasting and praying with only the presence of the Lord. With this shut-in and prayers of the saints, God brought
him out. Although the residue of this affliction remains with him, Prophet Moore simply considers it a limp and
thusly continues to build the Kingdom of God.
To his credit, Dr. Moore is a graduate of the Tabernacle of Prayer Bible Institute in Jamaica, Queens, New York
and the Christian Life School of Theology in Norwalk, Connecticut. He served in many leadership capacities,
one of which was Youth Pastor for nine years under the leadership of his grandmother, Apostle Herlene F.
Streeter; the Overseer of the Jesus is Lord Tabernacle Ministry.
Prophet Moore is married to Lady Michelle Moore and they are the parents of Miss Chantasia. Together, Dr.
Moore and Minister Moore are continuing to fulfill the call, purpose and will of God for their lives; by restoring
the family structure in God’s house and equipping and training the people of God for spiritual warfare.
