ACE Mentor Program Scholarship Partial scholarship for graduates of the ACE Program, who are pursuing majors in architecture, engineering or construction management. http://www.acementor.org/affiliates/maryland/eastern-shore/ Andrew M. Radcliffe Scholarship Scholarship for students from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School. Applicants must have financial need and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to students who exhibit leadership skills and participate in extracurricular activities. Applicant must demonstrate community service. Contact: St. Michaels High School 410-745-2852 Dorothy Webb Black Memorial Scholarship $500 scholarship for low income, minority students graduating from a Talbot County high school. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and must demonstrate community service. Contact: Clairdean Black 410-822-1751 Dr. Harold and Marjorie Shirk Scholarship Scholarship for mid-shore students attending Chesapeake College. Applicants must have significant financial need and be employed while attending school. Preference will be given to single parents. Contact: Chesapeake College 410-822-5400 x 252 Frederick Douglass Honor Society Scholarship $500 scholarship for minority students graduating from a Talbot County high school. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. http://www.frederickdouglasshonorsociety.org/ Marci Bee Dayton Memorial Scholarship $1,000 scholarship for students from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, who are pursuing a program in medicine. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have an interest in athletics. Contact: St. Michaels High School 410-745-2852 or Easton High School 410-822- 4180 Timothy Kern Memorial Scholarship Scholarship for students graduating from Cecil, Kent, Talbot or Queen Anne’s County High Schools. Pauline and Shirley T. Smith Scholarship Scholarship for students to attend Chesapeake College, Salisbury University or the University of Maryland College Park. Applicants must be graduating, or have graduated, from a Talbot, Caroline or Dorchester County Public High School. Applicants must have completed a minimum of one semester of college work and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must show evidence of financial need and must be willing/able to contribute towards the cost of his/her education. This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 semesters at Chesapeake College, 8 semesters at Salisbury University, or 8 semesters at the University of Maryland College Park. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and strong leadership skills. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and community service. Applicants must have a record of academic achievement and have an interest in the arts.
