January 2011. If the fees are paid through<br />

the Bank, please forward the slip to the school<br />

MAKINI AT MICROSOFT<br />

AWARDS<br />

Four teachers who are key champions of ICT integration at<br />

<strong>Makini</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> were invited to the Microsoft Pan African<br />

Innovative Teachers Forum Awards held in Mombasa in<br />

the last week of August 2010. The event attracted more<br />

than 100 teachers, school leaders, press and education<br />

thought leaders from 16 African countries including<br />

Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mozambique, Namibia,<br />

Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda.<br />

The <strong>Makini</strong> teachers who attended the ceremony were<br />

Diana Ndessy, Fredrick Ochieng, Bernard Mbeya, and<br />

head of I.T. Polycarp Imbayi.<br />
