FITNESS & BEAUTY
GOODBYE NEW YEAR
RESOLUTIONS,
HELLO NEW ME
By Trainer Anneka Smith, Certified Fitness Trainer
It’s the first week of November, and you’ve already started making New Year plans. As the month
progresses, fast forward to the week of Thanksgiving; you begin to pump yourself up for the beginning of
the year by proclaiming, “This is it, this is my year! 2016, is, MY, year!” We tell ourselves, “This year I’m going to
….,” and right here, in this very moment, we set ourselves up for failure by putting demands on ourselves
about future unfulfilled resolutions.
When it comes to Wellness and Fitness, let’s be honest, this topic is one of the most trending but most
despised topics out there; because no one really wants to talk about how we should deprive ourselves of
what we perceive to be “everything delicious”, or how we should drag ourselves off of the couch, from in
front of our favorite shows, to stay active.
We approach the New Year the same way, year
after year. New Year’s resolution number 1,
number 2, number 3 and the list goes on. What
we forget to remember, is life is full of variety,
options are abundant, and with the
advancement of technology, there is almost no
reason for us not to find what works best for
them in any area. I'm a firm believer in doing
things out of the box, and that also applies to
how I operate in Wellness and Fitness; as a
matter of fact, it may be one of the areas of our
lives that can use the most spunk and variety!
Let’s keep it simple and talk about what’s really
important versus what we think is important.
Counting calories, diets and quick fix pills are no
longer important or effective. You need tips and
ideas that fit your lifestyle and offer variety.
These next 4 Tips will free you from the normal
routine of setting Fitness resolutions and
breaking them, by offering you options that can
be applied to your everyday life for any goal.
4 TIPS TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS ALL YEAR
1. SET GOALS OF SUBSTANCE
One of the most important goals to set when
accepting a new challenge of this kind, is to set
goals of substance vs. goals of convenience.
There’s a big difference between setting a goal
to get in shape for a summer vacation or to fit in
that pair of jeans that once fit like they were
custom made. Compared to setting a goal to get
in shape to have the luxury of actively playing
with your kids without exhaustion or fatigue, or
making the choice not to live physically
restricted or inconvenienced by medications.
When the goal has substance and purpose
attached to it, it has a greater chance of actually
sticking with us. Even if we have to revise it, put
it down and come back to it; it’s almost as if
giving it value attaches its significance to the
innate part of us to be better and do better; on
repeat in our minds, tugging at our core to keep
trying until we get it right.

"
4 TIPS TO
ACHIEVE
YOUR GOALS
ALL YEAR
"
2. PLAN, PREPARE, ADD VARIETY, REPEAT
We’ve all heard the old adage at least once or twice in
our lives “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. Well, as
hard as it is to admit it, this saying applies to this area
of our lives in every way. Planning out meals and
workouts to fit into our daily lives, is the best way to set
ourselves up for success. In order to have healthy
eating habits, you have to have healthy eating options
available, otherwise you will turn to those last few
honey buns, or potato chips. And in order to go from
being active one day a week, to being active 3 days a
week, takes practice and preparation in order to have
the appropriate time to comfortably do so. When it’s
more of a challenge to plan for something, than it is to
actually experience it, it becomes an undesirable chore.
To avoid this horrid feeling, planning in advance can be
such a life saver, especially considering most of us
blame the rat race as the culprit of robbing us of time
to work out or prepare our meals in advance; before
actually considering time management as a solution.
We also find ourselves sticking to one solution when
we’re pressed for time, because it’s familiar or easy,
which for us who live jammed packed lives, with
minimal fluff time, would say is most favorable. We
actually miss the beauty in the experience if we only try
one way of working out, or one way of eating healthier;
because there is no such thing as the best way to do
anything, but there is a best way for you, which is so
important because you have to know what works for
you, and how will you know if you don’t explore
options. The options will be helpful later down the
road as your workout program requires change, and
when motivation needs a jump start.
"
3. VISION BOARD, TIMELINE AND
ACCOUNTABILITY
Another very helpful way to achieve our
goals year round, is to timeline goals in the
most realistic and effective way, and create an
accountability system for each milestone. Say
for instance, you pick 3 goals that need to be
achieved as soon as possible, before tackling
any other goals; you plan them out with
specific steps, set calendar reminders
throughout the month and an accountability
partner; and reminders in advance of each
milestone as a checkpoint, for achieving
those goals over the next 3 months.
This allows you to visualize your goals more
realistically and put them into a clear
perspective, responsively differentiating
between realistic goals versus fleeting
dreams, while also assuring you’re on target
to reach your goals. If your goal is to workout
3 days a week starting out, and then work
your way up to 5 days per week by March,
allow yourself to get comfortable with your
new workout schedule by working out 3 days
a week for the first month; no added pressure
while disciplining your body, and then step it
up to 4 days a week in the second month.
4, PACE YOURSELF AND TRUST THE PROCESS
We often forget that with a new workout program
and eating regimen, to allot for the temptation to fall
back into our routine, cravings, or decline in
motivation. There will be days that you just can’t live
without your favorite sweet, or you can’t go another
minute without a cigarette, or you’re going to blow a
fuse. And when those days come, just keep this in
mind; we are products of routine, years and years of
routine, it’s impossible to reverse years of habits and
routines in a period of a few months or so- it takes
time. Remember that this is a marathon, you must
pace yourself; one day at a time, step by step, and
don’t be afraid to mess up, or lose focus. It’s all part
of the process, don’t be so hard on yourself, pick
yourself up and try it again.
It’s great that we want to set goals and achieve
them with a fresh start, but starting fresh on new and
improved goals, is something we can do all year with
more ease and success, if we follow these 4 simple
but helpful tips. Say goodbye to New Year’s
Resolution Blues, and say hello to a better you, all
year round.
"I believe being a
phenomenal woman of
power means being
confident in yourself and
having the ability despite
your obstacles to continue
each and every day being
the change the world
needs."
- Michelle Clay
Things
That
Define A
Phenomenal
Woman
Of Power
Our Social Media Follows shared their Ideas on What it
means to be a phenomenal woman of power, here are
our top 7 favorites!
Being a PWOP is recognizing your power and
having the courage to pursue it in it's highest
form. It could be something as big as starting
a business, as simple as finally performing at
the open mic event you love or even
applying for that promotion you know you
deserve. I meet women everyday who see
me running my business and say "I wish I
could..." or "One day I'd love to..." I always tell
them you CAN and that day should be today.
The difference is those of us who have the
courage to put ourselves out there despite
the possibility of failure. And we want it so
badly we are willing to be uncomfortable and
sacrifice to make it happen.
-Rikki Jean-Antoine Orlando, FL
"Finding out what's the real reason
you are on this earth. Actually taking
what God has empowered within you
from the day you were born and
stepping out and doing the plan.
Keeping it movin in spite of the
obstacles or experiences in your life.
And not letting it or them stop you.
Believing in yourself and developing
the skill, wisdom, and knowledge to
make it happen.."
- Cara Terrance Charlotte, NC

"I keep my wits about me. I stay
youthful and healthy. I indulge.
Everyone does. But at the end of the
day I still stand on my own two feet
and get my responsibilities taken
care of. "
"I think phenomenal women are all
around us everyday. We are the
mothers who raise our children
alone, we march to the beat of our
own drums, and we are not afraid to
write our own chapters."
"
- Priscilla Diaz
" I am most of all a child of God I love to make people feel good about
themselves I like to make people beautiful I love to help people be
better and feel better about themselves I love music. I love to cook
and spend time with my family. I am passionate about helping people
who are stuggling with weight and health problems that can be solved
by changing their lifestyle, eating green, drinking plenty of water
getting plenty of sleep, exercising and most of all cleansing at a
cellular level
- Ruby Craft
"Phenomenal is a big word to live up to, but
it's the perfect word to describe a woman
who defines her own power. I think being
phenomenal means being exceptional.
Beating the odds and having the courage to
change the world around you."
FILM
AN INDIE REVIEW OF
UPCOMING FILMS
A DIVA'S TAKEOVER A new web series hits the
market this summer and it's sure to leave audiences
begging for more. A Divas Takeover: The House of PC
chronicles the lives of five models as they pursue their
dreams of super-stardom. Two owners must make
some tough decisions as they struggle to re-image
their magazine for expansion. Lies, envy and deceit
come between the models as they battle one another
in a war to become the new face of The House of PC.
In the end, only one of them will win that title. Watch
as the drama unfolds in this fashion forward original
series. The series A Diva's Takeover was an exciting
and new opportunity for McMorries Winters
Production to venture into a new genre of film,
television."
We asked co-producer, Brandon McMorries, what it
was like transitioning from feature film to television. "It
was definitely something new for us. I think there's a
lot that goes into it when you're doing film initially.
Rather it's a feature or a short film. Our first project was
a feature film so there was a lot that went into the preliminary
work of getting the film prepped for
production. The tv show," McMorries admits, "has a lot
of simplicity to it. It's very structured in a certain
format. I definitely enjoy both, there are pros and cons
to each one. But at the end of the day they both turned
our very nice."

TUMBLING THE MOVIE, THE DIRECTOR'S
CUT PRODUCER BRANDON MCMORIES
describes working with the cast of
TUMBLING THE MOVIE as a great
experience. "It was great working with
such a diverse cast.," says McMorries. "We
had a lot of different type of people in
the film That's something we try to be
conscious of in every project. We don't
want to just cater to one realm of people.
Diversity is our driving factor when
casting for a McMorries Winters
Production. It makes for a very dynamic
cast. So it was great meeting a lot of
different people. We were able to blend
and work with a lot of different acting
styles. We had a lot of different
characters in there. And that's really
something that we really try to highlight
on in all our projects."
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO MAKE A CASTLE FALL? They were just four men, each with his own skill
reaching for a common goal. Four guys with a dream quickly turning that dream into a reality. K.O.
the leader, Styles his right hand man, Dough the Runner and Zeek the Enforcer. But when one man's
quest for revenge threatens the very nature of their bond, allies become enemies and friendships are
broken. Forever. COMING SOON! Writer/Director BROOKLYNN WINTERS says, "Tumbling has always
been a labor of love from the very first day we started casting. It has been the largest scale project
we've done to date and I can't be happier with the product we've created. It's been something fans
have been waiting for, but we're confident it's well worth the wait.
THE CAST OF TUMBLING We spoke with the cast of
the film to hear what they had to say about their
experience working on Tumbling. Here are some
of their comments. LUPITA RUIZ Working with
them was an amazing experience. It was
amazing. They take you under your wing and
teach you to do better with yourself. MONIQUE
WILBURN They definitely work one on one with
you to make you put forth your best work. I feel
like I’ve grown so much as an artist and an actress
after working with them.
Ithink a phenomenal woman of power is a
woman who has come into her radiance. She is
a woman who knows her capabilities and her
worth, and has grown to appreciate her own
beauty and unique talents. She knows what she
wants and attacks it with a vengeance. It takes
great courage, strength, and power to walk your
OWN path, march to the beat of your own drum,
and confidently work towards your goals and
dreams. A woman who follows her passion with
unwavering faith is phenomenal.
Success can be defined in so many different
measures. Personally, I define success as someone
who is courageous enough to do something they
sought out to do and actually achieve it.
Regardless of the goal, or what a person is trying
to accomplish. If deep down inside you love art
and you go through the necessary steps to
become an artist and are earning a living doing so,
then you are successful. And that goes for
anything. A dreamer who follows their dream.
WHAT'S YOUR BEAUTY SECRET:
I drink lots of water and no stress! I eat clean and
wear minimal makeup. Not to mention I overdose
on lotion and moisturizer! I can’t leave the house
without a good chap stick and a small bottle of
lotion. It’s a necessity.
I live in Greensboro, NC. This is a very
historical city. The stories that each area
tells are phenomenal. There were a lot of
brave movements that happened here
(February 1st sit-in movement at
Woolworth, Civil War, industrial growth,
etc). And even though it’s in the south,
we have a lot of cultural influence. We
have seven universities and a community
college so we get people from all over.
Not to mention we have the greatest
homecoming on earth. AG-GIE PRIDE!
WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
HOW SINGLES PLAN TO SPEND VALENTINE'S DAY:
For ages singles have been plagued with
the dreaded sense of humility and anguish
which comes from spending year after year
alone on what's been known as "Valentine's
Day." The agony of being reminded of just
how lonely single life is has driven many to
protest and challenge the conventional
meaning of "Lover's Day." This year singles
are reportedly fighting back against tradition
and creating some of their own.
22
We spoke to some of our social media
followers and asked singles across the
country how they planned to spend
Valentine's Day. The creative responses we
received were overwhelming. Singles have
plans to take a new approach to the holiday
that will leave you thinking twice about
shunning the controversial day this year.
Erica from Atlanta, Ga says, "I've
been single now for three years
since my divorce, and I can admit
Valentine's has always been a
time I've found it most difficult to
be single. But this year, two of
my single friends and I are
planning a weekend getaway to
Cancun. Who knows, maybe I'll
channel my inner Stella and
finally get my groove back."
www.thehouseofpc.com

SOCIAL MEDIA READER POLL
.............................................................
"The thing that makes Valentine's Day so special is the feeling of being pampered by the
person you love. If you don't have anyone special in your life, I say pamper yourself. I'm planning a
spa day, full pedicure, small shopping spree, followed up with a nice dinner and night out on the
town with friends." Vanetta S. - Panama City, Florida
"I say being single doesn't mean you have to be alone. As liberated women, there's nothing
wrong with having a little fun and exploring your sexuality. I may not be on the road to marriage
and a baby carriage, but on V-day I'll be curling my toes and singing sweet nothings in his ear."
Holly B. - Miami, Florida
"I've been hearing a lot about these mixer parties for singles in my area. I've never done
anything like it, but I am ready for a change. So I'm trying something different this year. Speed
dating." Candra R. - Tampa, FL
Alvida C. in Destin, Florida shares, "Something simple like a dinner with a new beau or candles lit all in
the house, rose petals leading to a hot bubble bath or vice versa. Something memorable, like creating
Phenomenal Woman of Courage:
At 24 years old, after finding out my mother
was on drugs, realizing my father would
never be consistent in my life and
accepting the fact that I was now a
single parent; I opened up a 501c3 non-profit
organization, named Sacrit Devahood
Incorporation. SDI, started in the middle of my
living room with one young girl and it has now
grown and expanded to Kampala, Uganda. Sacrit
Devahood Incorporation empowers young girls
ages 11-19 through performing arts, social
building skills and international connections.
Six years into trials, tribulations, speeches,
traveling and personal overcoming: I decided to
finally take the time to truly ‘know thyself ’. I
noticed that I was setting expectations for my
young girls (organization and daughters), but
barely setting any for myself. I felt it was time to
truly love me. Loving me included: loving what I
hated about myself and loving the person within
me that I was hiding from. By beginning this
process, I eventually began to love the ones that
hurt me
March 10, 2015, “Herstorys- Her history told
through the eyes of her true self ” was selfpublished.
This book took 2 weeks of my time
during my fasting period and self-actualization.
I learned in order to be truthful with others; I
had to become truthful with self. In this book, I’ve
written biographical poems, short stories and
confessions to begin my new, true and happier
life. With anything that I do, I am always looking
at how this benefits others and I wanted this book
to help my sisters/brothers as well.
I’ve noticed the lack of camaraderie in the
female community, for years. I made a vow
to begin what I call, “Universal Sisterhood”
by using “Herstorys” as a vessel. In addition;
I wanted to build relationships with the souls
that placed their inquisitive hands on this
book. This sisterhood is the made up of ALL
women, no matter the race, ethnicity, creed or
disability.
We all have a story…and our stories will help
other sisters to grow,
which will build,
“Herstorys”.
As Salt Water Sprite says, “It
is honest, painfully
beautiful. ”I heard Nyeesha
speak about Herstorys in
person, and more authentic,
open, and loving power I
have not previously
witnessed in person. Her
message about female unity
is real and uplifting because
she is 100% honest and direct
about her experiences and
actions in life. When we
realize that our honesty frees
us from our shadows, we can
step into the light. Use the
blank pages to write out
your own raw, honest truth,
and step into the light with
all the other women reading
24

Nyeesha has spent years
dedicating her time
motivating and educating
teen audiences about the
effects of happiness. She
was known as the
“grandmother” of her
friends, but none knew she
was a victim of sexual
abuse and molestation by
the age of 12. Nyeesha
realized helping others in
similar situations gave her
such a rewarding feeling
she decided to make it her
career.
NYEESHA D. WILLIAMS
" I am not sure where to even begin even years of therapy could not evoke the deeply buried emotions that
this book was able to! It forced me to look at my life as woman, a mother, a wife and identify and examine the parts
that needed healing. I appreciate Nyeesha’s transparency so that others can see themselves through her
Empowering, yet disabling.....inclusive, yet exclusive. i find myself writing more in provided blank spaces that the
words even in the excerpt I am writing about. I look forward to purchasing a copy for my mother and my daughter
so we can begin to mend relationships and heal together. Herstorys is My story! Thank you Nyeesha!” In this book
there is an interactive dialogue between the writer and the reader. On each page you’ll find an expressive story, a
confession, or a poem about the writer’s life. Each entry will evoke an emotion from the reader. During these
interactions, the reader becomes a writer in her/his own right.
PERFORMING FOR MY LIFE: A
BEAUTIFUL STORY OF SURVIVAL
Jessica tells a powerful and brave story of her life experiences with
Phenomenal
Woman of Strength
JESSICA COLLIER
Tells a brave story of her survival with an illness
which she's lived with for years. Her story is
inspiring.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
One of the most amazing experiences of my childhood was attending the
circus. It was exhilarating being packed in a crowd of hundreds, the arena
buzzing with energy and smells of animals, popcorn, and cotton candy
wafting all around saturating the air, the atmosphere was ideal for
excitement. Then there was the trapeze and high wire acts. As the
performers took their places, I was frozen in wonder. I asked my mom,
“How do they do that?” She only hugged me tighter and told me to watch.
Every acrobatic act and death-defying feat elicited tiny gasps of amazement
from my lips, and I applauded as fast as my six-year-old hands could clap. It
was the most thrilling event I had experienced in my young years, watching
these performing artists do the impossible.
"I have a chronic neuromuscular
disease known as myasthenia gravis
(MG)."
I have a chronic neuromuscular disease known as myasthenia gravis (MG).
The extreme muscle weakness, fatigue, double vision, and difficulty
swallowing and breathing which accompany MG, are a part of my daily life.
Unlike the trapeze artists I idolized as a child, my amazing acts include:
getting dressed without assistance, brushing my hair without getting tired,
or even smiling for a picture. Yes, even my smile suffers due to facial
muscle weakness of MG. I even perform death-defying feats, such as
drinking a glass of water without choking, breathing in hot weather, having
a cold, and even walking without assistance. There is no fancy costume or
applause, but for seventeen years, I have survived an illness that is designed
to kill me. Living with MG is my high wire act, and each day I have an
opportunity to look fear in the face and survive. Many people ask me,
“How do you do it?” When the drumbroll begins, the spotlight shines, and
the net drops, I will always be ready to perform the impossible, in spite of
MG.
Phenomenal Women
of Power Tell Their Stories
Priscilla Diaz, 31
(Cosmetologist)pictured right
I currently live in the projects because me and my
children used to be homeless. I got hit by a car
two years ago protecting my children, just a year
and half after my neck surgery. I have a metal
plate in my neck from two minor fender benders
and had to learn how to walk and talk again.
Every day I am in severe pain. But you would
never know because I am a bright, bubbly
person. I'm not perfect. I am not stronger than
you or the person next to you. I just am realistic. I
take everything that happens to me and make
the best outcome out of it. I keep my wits about
me. I stay youthful and healthy. I indulge.
Everyone does. But at the end of the day I still
stand on my own two feet and get my
responsibilities taken care of. You can ask me
anything. I've given my last dollar before. I've
literally taken any bad situation I was in and made
lemonade out of it. I stay humble. I stay
grounded. I learned to love myself again and
because of that I'm unbreakable. So, yes, I'd say I
am phenomenal.
PHENOMENAL WOMAN
SHAKIRA MILLS ON,
How To Eliminate
The Confirmation
Mentality
In a culture of emerging creative individuality, is it
possible for one to truly be themselves when the
standards are set by others? The answer is no."

There are few people that can say they
don’t turn to social media for inspiration,
especially those in their twenties. Instagram
is great for hair ideas. Pinterest is perfect for
home decor and outfits. Youtube may as
well be an Everything for Dummies ebook.
Social media is constantly used as a
determinant of what is cool or dope. And
even though social media is for the people
by the people, the concept is contradictory
to that of true individuality. I myself
overload on Youtube videos whenever I
want to do something different with my
hair.
This is not because I want to
learn more about a style. It’s because I want
to make sure it would actually look good on
me, therefore I need to see it look good on
someone else. I, like many others, feel the
need to identify with someone else before I
make my own decisions. We all just want to
make sure what we do is actually dope.
However, firstly, let us correctly
differentiate between dope and well
known.
Everyone knows who Lil B is; rapper,
producer, fashion risk taker, etc. That in no
way makes him a dope artist. Secondly, if
dope is supposed to be a form of individual
expression, why are we turning to public
domains for dope ideas?
Is there a valid reason as to why we all
follow or idealize these trends? Is there
even a solid version or definition to what
dope is? The answer is no. So 2016 needs to
be the year of actual origin. Wake up one
morning and choose out an outfit without
checking Pinterest first. Stop depending on
youtube to tell you what to do with your
hair.
Try listening to music that revolves around
more than the cars, sex and money that
these rappers don’t actually have yet. I
know a music producer that doesn’t listen
to anything besides his own music when
he’s in the middle of a project. He says it
helps him influence himself instead of
being influenced. He wants to make his
music, not someone else’s. How different
would life be if we became our own
inspiration, or held ourselves to our own
standards and not one another’s?
Food for thought
LIFESTYLE & ISSUES
Why are we not coming up with our own
dope outfits and hairstyles? If I like how
something looks, it shouldn’t matter how it
looks on the next woman on Instagram. It’s
as if we no longer make decisions without
seeing if others have done the same thing.
The same goes for our other lifestyle
choices. When it comes to what we listen
to, what we consider art, how we think, we
feel the need to confirm or identify with
others. Individuality has become such an
oxymoron because we turn to one another
for what is cool instead of liking what we
want to like. I call this the confirmation
mentality, which has ultimately lead us to
legitimate Young Thug albums and Kanye
West’s clothing line being taken seriously.
These things are popular and well known
amongst our generation, but are they really
dope to all of us?
ABOUT THE GIRLS OF ADT?
Star of the hit new original series, A Diva's Takeover, CHAND AM sits with PC
to be a phonomenal woman in entertainment
Chanda Am, 21 (Tampa, FL)
What defines a phenomenal woman of power? She is confident,
driven, humble. She understands her imperfections and desires only
to be her true self. She is strong yet weak; a woman who struggles
from time to time. She speaks more than just words, she shows it.
She is honest, and she speaks the truth. She is a woman who
surrounds herself with nothing but other phenomenal women of
power.

WE ASKED PHENOMENAL
WOMAN OF POWER TO
NAME SOME OF THEIR
BEAUTY SECRETS,
CHANDA AM SAID:
" I exfoliate with St. Ives
I t’s simple. I drink H20 and lemon ginger tea. It’s
important to get as much rest as possible. I like to
get at least 8 hours of sleep per night. For my hair,
because I live in Florida, the temperature can be
very humid. So when I get out the shower, I rub
nutrient-rich Coconut Oil curl cream into my hair.
I find that it works best while my hair is damp to
get the best curl results. For my face I exfoliate
with St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub to get
a nice smooth texture. After cleansing, I apply
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion
to clarify my skin. The cream leaves my face
feeling great, and it also makes it easier to apply
makeup. I find that every woman of color should
always use a blush bronzer. They say your teeth is
the window to your health. And a woman is most
beautiful when she smiles. For my teeth, I always
brush and floss two times a day and never miss
my dental appointments. For my body, I always
use Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy stress relief
body lotion. I rub the moisturizer all over my
body. Not only does it smell great but it leaves my
body feeling calm and stress-free. I also do a lot of
meditation to relieve daily stress, and balance my
energy. It’s important always to smile and laugh.
It’s good for you. But most importantly beauty is
within. You only live once, so enjoy it and always
live life to the fullest. Always take the chances and
risk without the regrets. Be selfless, be kind, be
humble, and surround yourself with positive
energy. As a result, you will feel more beautiful.
Remember confidence is key.
"There are a lot of reasons to be
thankful, why not give back to the
community. Attend a charity to
take care of the city. At the end of
the day, your heart will be filled
with a lot more love."

To be a phenomenal woman of power, I
believe, means that you should first and
foremost be encouraging, not only to yourself,
but to others as well. It means to always
remain compassionate and loving towards
others. So much of the world is lost to our own
negligence. We take the most precious things for
granted. It's really sad because when we do this,
we lose all the beauty the world has to offer.
Confidence, to me, will always be the most
underrated beauty secret. You have to believe in
yourself always.
about my city is the fact that we've gone through
be so receptive to our format. We have so much coming in this year. New celebrity faces,
bloggers, and affiliates from across the country. It's a very humbling experience to see this
magic unfold. May God bless you all and stay tuned for more.
