SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: The TCU Educational Leadership
program believes in doing more than simply educating and guiding our
future school leaders. Community and corporate partnerships have been
forged to help fund the tuition costs of those selected as Fellows, enabling
the College of Education to award significant scholarship aid to those
chosen as program participants.

Principal Leadership Fellows Cohort I
DYNAMIC, RELEVANT CURRICULUM: Curriculum engages students in
the active, critical resolution of problems through authentic leadership
learning activities and constructive use of data to inform continuous
improvement of their own organizations.
UNIQUE FACULTY: Faculty is unmatched in diversity, depth, and breadth
of experience. Professors come from highly successful careers in law,
business, and executive leadership in higher education and school districts.
RIGOROUS SCREENING & SELECTION PROCESS: Competitive applicants
are chosen through rigorous assessments involving problem solving,
written and oral communications, presentations, and conversations with a
team of evaluators, including the sponsors of the Fellows’ scholarships.
COHORT LEARNING: Through membership in a group, candidates evolve
into a strong network of leaders engaged in continuous learning, debate,
and dialogue.
SMALL, PERSONALIZED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: Program enrollment
averages an outstanding 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Candidates receive
individual graduate planning, ongoing counseling, and progress reviews.
TRUE SCHOOL-COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP: A unique, interdependence of
businesses, schools, and school districts form a strong support network.

Principal Leadership Fellows Cohort II
MENTORING & COACHING: Mentoring and coaching of candidates occurs
during and after the program from school districts, TCU, and sponsors.
This triangulation of professional support ensures a successful leadership
experience and produces exceptional educational leaders.
PRACTICUM EXPERIENCES: Candidates receive a paid, full year practicum
by the sponsoring districts and release time for relevant cohort
experiences with sponsors.
MONITORED RESULTS: Success is tracked via multiple measures over
several years in order to monitor and continuously improve the program.

program enjoy a high-quality, problems-based cohort experience supported by partners in the DFW community. Cost of the program for Principal Leadership
