IMCO Capacities & Future Plans
IMCO as well focuses on the need to build capacities in
logistic sector by enhancing education and researching
activities for that sector. IMCO also focuses on the practical,
operational, professional advanced simulators,
workshops and laboratories, owned by the College for the
student training as if they are fully in real life environment
under normal conditions, thus associated with academic
education vocational training.
IMCO graduates meet the requirements of the local
labor market as they are remarkable of their skills and
IMCO receives a lot demands for its programmes and
training courses that led to the increase of students
number. One of IMCO simulators is the Transport Chain
Simulator which is one of the most advanced full mission
simulators in the world. It allows the complete scope of
actions needed to fulfill the duties of not only one but of
a vast range of functions. Within one running exercise a
total of 16 different positions or functions can be played
by participants in the simulator exercise.
IMCO serves the most important vital projects in Oman’s
future such as the railway project and the logistic hubs.
Also, IMCO’s infrastructure and future plans for the future
would set out to serve Oman and the region.
