Extended camps
fun and flexibility all right here, with Wheeling
Park District’s summer camp programs. Extended Camp provides before and after
care to campers, with caring, responsible staff, in a fun, engaging and supervised
environment, until parents arrive. Light snacks are provided each morning and afternoon.
Activities include organized group games, arts and crafts, cooking, sports and other
exciting things. Half-day campers can register for before care if they attend Camp
Sunrise.

Time: 7 AM–9 AM (Before Care)
3 PM–6 PM (After Care)
Grades: K–9
(must be entering these grades in fall 2016)

• Registration deadline:
Wednesday, 8 p.m., prior to the
session start date. All campers
must be registered before the
deadline to avoid a $20 late fee.
Late registration is accepted until
8:30 a.m., Monday, of the session
start date, with a $20 late fee.
• Discounts: Sign up one child,
and each sibling receives a
$20, one-time Sibling Discount.
Financial assistance may be
available to Wheeling Park District
residents. Call 847-465-3333.
• Refunds: To receive a refund,
a request must be submitted the
Thursday prior to the start of the
withdrawn session.
• Camp details: Camp specific
info, i.e. field trip schedules,
theme days, etc., will be available
online and at Guest Services.
