It’s good to hear that Little Sam Lyons has
been voted favourite comedy vocalist in the
North Midlands magazine “The Entertainer”.
Sometime member of the duo Freshly
Squeezed, this hard working little lassie is a real
tonic to watch, guaranteed to light up even the
gloomiest day. She’s so versatile and has that
quality of coming to terms with an audience almost
as soon as she steps on stage.
A few years ago young Lucas Primmer created
quite a stir when he came on the South Yorkshire
scene with his superb singing voice.

I remember Peter Sarsfield when he first began as a
vocalist. He came on by leaps and bounds, probably
helped by his father, Paddy Sarsfield , a retired performer
well known in North Manchester. If Paddy was in the
audience his son would get him up on stage to sing a Julie Allison Doncaster
number and then ask for a vote on who was the best. As Artiste and Journalist.

developed a very serious throat complaint and it was touch and go whether he
would ever sing again.. He won through, and is currently around with a creditable
tribute to Frankie Valli.
HAPPY FAMILIES
Very popular these days is the versatile
and remarkably talented set of
family members called Beardsmith.
Family acts are nothing new. At one
time there were the Kobaks, from
which came the dynamic Lizzie Mac.
