Setting up a plant running on clean technology to replace imports <strong>of</strong> glass bottles <strong>for</strong> beverages<br />
(beer, foods, rum), <strong>for</strong> medicines and food conserves, at over 210 million units yearly, thereby<br />
allowing us to cover 95% <strong>of</strong> the current domestic market.<br />
The plant must be designed with a daily melting capacity <strong>of</strong> 220 tons/day in 2 furnaces (one <strong>for</strong> 120<br />
tons/day <strong>of</strong> amber and green glass bottles and the other furnace <strong>for</strong> 100 tons/day <strong>for</strong> clear glass).<br />
