Day 4 Beijing–Xi’an

Day 5 Xi’an
Rare discoveries await you on a PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR of Xi’an. Start with a visit to the DAYAN PAGODA,
built in 652 AD. Afterward, marvel at the TERRACOTTA WARRIORS that have been standing guard at the tomb of
China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi, for over 2,000 years. During lunch, enjoy a NOODLE-MAKING DEMON-

Day 2 Delhi
Today, explore the sights of Delhi on your PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR. Start in “Old Delhi” where you
will take a RICKSHAW RIDE through CHANDNI CHOWK, a colorful local bazaar. This afternoon,
your sightseeing focuses on “New Delhi.” Drive past the India Gate and the President’s House before
visiting HUMAYUN’S TOMB and GANDHI SMRITI, a poignant memorial honoring Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 3 Delhi

Today, drive to Agra, where much of the city’s impressive past is still evident in the majesty of

TAJ MAHAL (closed Fridays), an extravagant marble monument to love. Moghul Emperor
Shah Jahan built it as a memorial to his beloved wife, who died during childbirth. To add to

AGRA FORT, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Moghul Emperor Akbar, this impressive

ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive in Dublin, Ireland
