Kilimanjaro<br />
To Kirsty and her father Ron Anderson<br />
who took on the really tough challenge<br />
of climbing to the summit of Mount<br />
Kilimanjaro - all 5,895 metres of it!<br />
Ron and his friends also arranged a<br />
charity golf day. The two activities raised<br />
£2,846.10.<br />
5K in Brussels<br />
To Barbara de Abreu who ran the 5km<br />
course at the Belfius Brussels Marathon<br />
wearing the Ovacome top and raising<br />
€653.56 for her Tea with Ovacome<br />
pledge.<br />
Bake off<br />
To Donna Grant who held a most amazing<br />
bake off and raised £350. The photos of<br />
all the beautiful cakes were so delightful.<br />
Football match<br />
To Megan Grant and Thomas Larden<br />
and their charity family football match in<br />
honour of their awesome grandma Trish,<br />
putting £300 in the net for Ovacome.<br />
Family running<br />
To the Cunningham family; Joanne,<br />
Scott, Andrew and Emma, who all ran the<br />
Great Scottish Run; Scott and Joanne<br />
completed the half marathon and Andrew<br />
and Emma, the 2.5km, with Scott also<br />
taking part in the Bassenthwaite Triathlon<br />
in the Lake District. All of them raised a<br />
total £3,065.53.<br />
Afternoon tea<br />
To Jill Luce and her really wonderful<br />
afternoon tea party with friends raising<br />

25 years<br />
To Diane and Michael Flanagan who<br />
celebrated 25 years of wonderful<br />
marriage and requested donations<br />
instead of gifts, collecting £90.<br />
Great North Run<br />
To Becca Watt whose feet eventually<br />
recovered after running the Great North<br />
Run and reaching £143.13.<br />
Two bakers<br />
To New Street Kitchen, Marie-Antoinette<br />
and Marie-Noelle Plante, who donated<br />
£54.30 from their fundraising sale day.<br />

the Cardiff Half Marathon together<br />

Head shave<br />
To Will English whose lovely long locks<br />
were famous around the villages where<br />
he lives. He shaved them off, raised<br />
£1,837, and donated his hair to children’s<br />
cancer charity the Little Princes Trust.<br />

Bristol to Exeter<br />
To Alan Sanderson who walked so many<br />
miles! 75 miles from Bristol to Exeter<br />
over five days and raised £1,829.11.<br />
Time for coffee<br />
To Lilian Marris and friends who collected<br />
£270 for their coffee morning and a very<br />
long walk over the Humber Bridge.<br />
64 miles<br />
To Lisa and David Parry who cycled a<br />
backbreaking 64 miles from Manchester<br />
to Blackpool and still looked amazing at<br />
the finish; raising £400.<br />
New York,<br />
New York<br />
To Jon Channell who reached £1,536.98<br />
by running the New York City Marathon<br />
in November. Thank you so much for<br />
sharing the brilliant video of you crossing<br />
the finishing line.<br />
Santa’s sleigh<br />
To Deborah Chessum, Santa and his<br />
amazing sleigh, Rudolph and all the<br />
wonderful elves that went around<br />
their local villages near Billingborough,<br />
Lincolnshire during December and<br />
collected £2,085.<br />
Visit Viv Day<br />
To Vivien who brought all her friends<br />
together to visit her, had a wonderful time<br />
seeing everyone and raised £383.26.<br />
