Kilimanjaro
To Kirsty and her father Ron Anderson
who took on the really tough challenge
of climbing to the summit of Mount
Kilimanjaro - all 5,895 metres of it!
Ron and his friends also arranged a
charity golf day. The two activities raised
£2,846.10.
5K in Brussels
To Barbara de Abreu who ran the 5km
course at the Belfius Brussels Marathon
wearing the Ovacome top and raising
€653.56 for her Tea with Ovacome
pledge.
Bake off
To Donna Grant who held a most amazing
bake off and raised £350. The photos of
all the beautiful cakes were so delightful.
Football match
To Megan Grant and Thomas Larden
and their charity family football match in
honour of their awesome grandma Trish,
putting £300 in the net for Ovacome.
Family running
To the Cunningham family; Joanne,
Scott, Andrew and Emma, who all ran the
Great Scottish Run; Scott and Joanne
completed the half marathon and Andrew
and Emma, the 2.5km, with Scott also
taking part in the Bassenthwaite Triathlon
in the Lake District. All of them raised a
total £3,065.53.
Afternoon tea
To Jill Luce and her really wonderful
afternoon tea party with friends raising
£600.
25 years
To Diane and Michael Flanagan who
celebrated 25 years of wonderful
marriage and requested donations
instead of gifts, collecting £90.
Great North Run
To Becca Watt whose feet eventually
recovered after running the Great North
Run and reaching £143.13.
Two bakers
To New Street Kitchen, Marie-Antoinette
and Marie-Noelle Plante, who donated
£54.30 from their fundraising sale day.
Their baking was really quite wonderful!

at their charity lunch. Thank you so much

truly amazing.
Cardiff Half
Marathon
To Louise Burgess and Catherine
Hershaw , really great friends, who ran
the Cardiff Half Marathon together
raising £1,464.50.
Head shave
To Will English whose lovely long locks
were famous around the villages where
he lives. He shaved them off, raised
£1,837, and donated his hair to children’s
cancer charity the Little Princes Trust.

Bristol to Exeter
To Alan Sanderson who walked so many
miles! 75 miles from Bristol to Exeter
over five days and raised £1,829.11.
Time for coffee
To Lilian Marris and friends who collected
£270 for their coffee morning and a very
long walk over the Humber Bridge.
64 miles
To Lisa and David Parry who cycled a
backbreaking 64 miles from Manchester
to Blackpool and still looked amazing at
the finish; raising £400.

To Jon Channell who reached £1,536.98
by running the New York City Marathon

Santa’s sleigh
To Deborah Chessum, Santa and his
amazing sleigh, Rudolph and all the
wonderful elves that went around
their local villages near Billingborough,
Lincolnshire during December and
collected £2,085.

To Vivien who brought all her friends
together to visit her, had a wonderful time
