DAY 1: 1 NIGHT STAY IN LONDON<br />

DAY 3: PARIS, FRANCE<br />

Spend the day exploring this captivating city’s most famous sights, Visit<br />

the Louvre, the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral and the Arc de<br />

Triomphe. Perhaps take a trip up the city’s most famous monument, the<br />

Eiffel Tower. From the top of its 320 metre spire, enjoy glorious views of the<br />

city sprawled below. Paris is a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy<br />

and culture. Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide<br />

boulevards and the River Seine.<br />

What to see: Musée d’Orsay – is a museum in Paris, France, on the left bank of<br />

the Seine. The museum holds mainly French art including the largest collection<br />

of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters<br />

including Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin and<br />

Van Gogh.<br />

Day two aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. You awake to the<br />

magnificent scenery of the Swiss Alps as breakfast is served in your cabin at<br />

a time to suit you. Spend the morning relaxing in your cabin or in the Bar Car<br />

chatting to fellow travellers over coffee. Enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch<br />

served in another of the beautiful restaurant cars. While away the afternoon<br />

relaxing in your cabin admiring the spectacular scenery. Later, afternoon<br />

tea is served in your cabin. All too soon it is time to prepare to disembark<br />

as the train crosses the Venetian Lagoon and pulls into Santa Lucia station.<br />

Maria. Check out of your hotel and transfer to the port to embark Cunard’s<br />

Queen Victoria for your Eastern Mediterranean cruise. Leaving Venice behind<br />

this evening and heading for Dubrovnik.<br />
