WIT-NC TO HOST BUREAU OF INDUSTRY AND SECURITY UNDER
SECRETARY, ERIC HIRSCHHORN, AT THE MARCH 1 st SPECIAL PROGRAM
PALO ALTO, Calif. – February 22, 2012 – WIT-NC announces a one-on-one program
with Bureau of Industry and Security Under Secretary, Eric L. Hirschhorn, on Thursday
March 1 st , 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm, at SAP in Palo Alto.
Leading Silicon Valley companies are invited to meet with the Bureau of Industry and
Security (BIS) Under Secretary, Eric L. Hirschhorn, and David W. Mills, Assistant
Secretary of the Office of Export Enforcement (OEE). Join us for this rare opportunity as
Mr. Hirschhorn leads a presentation on current Export Reform, and to have an open
dialogue with both Mr. Hirschhorn and Mr. Mills. Under Secretary Hirschhorn will
present opening remarks and comment on the concerns shared by Silicon Valley
companies.
The seminar will include a preview of coming proposed rulings for Export Reform and
how companies are impacted by this Reform, what individual companies can do about
Export Reform today and as the years progress, and how you can influence changes and
learn about upcoming events.
This is an excellent opportunity to dialog directly with senior leadership from BIS.
Attendees will come away with a resource tool kit for understanding the pending
changes.
