years ago, now in use as a Tesco and another supermarket.<br />
BROMLEY (BR1), COMPASS (Stonegate). Was THREE<br />
COMPASSES, SCRUFFY MURPHY’S. Closed and sold in<br />
January, will become a Franco Manca pizza restaurant.<br />
BROMLEY (BR2), LATE LOUNGE. Renamed BEDROCK but<br />
since closed, now a pizza delivery place.<br />
COULSDON (CR5), MANGO BAR. Was PISTOLS WINE<br />
BAR. Closed and sold summer 2015, now a decorators<br />
merchant.<br />
CROYDON (CR0), HALF & HALF. Was BEER CIRCUS. Cask<br />
beer discontinued and renamed SOUTH BEATS.<br />
SOUTH WEST<br />
SW1, CLARENDON. Was GROSVENORS, COUNTRY PUB IN<br />
LONDON. Having closed in 2011, upper floors now converted<br />
to a boutique hotel, with restaurant in the ground floor.<br />
SW1, TWO CHAIRMEN, 1 Warwick House St. Closed in<br />
November, permission for residential conversion granted in<br />
2013.<br />
SW4, ARCH 635. Closed, now a Chinese restaurant and<br />
night club.<br />
SW6, SOUTHERN CROSS (Greene King). Was<br />
PETERBOROUGH. Renamed EEL BROOK a couple of years<br />
ago. Closed in January and sold to a property company with<br />
a restrictive covenant against future use as a pub.<br />
SW8, QUEENS ARMS (Enterprise). Closed, future<br />
uncertain.<br />
SW13, IDLE HOUR (Enterprise). Was MANOR ARMS.<br />
Closed in February, the tenant claimed he had been crosssubsidising<br />
it from other business interests, future uncertain.<br />
SW17, TOOTING TRAM & SOCIAL (Antic). Was<br />
TRAMSHED. Cask beer discontinued. Now run as a music<br />
bar and nightclub.<br />
KINGSTON (KT2), RICHMOND PARK (Enterprise). Having<br />
been closed and sold in 2012, now a Co-op supermarket.<br />
MITCHAM (CR4), QUEEN’S HEAD (Shepherd Neame), 70<br />
Cricket Green. Closed in March, future uncertain.<br />
PETERSHAM (TW10), DYSART ARMS (Enterprise). Now<br />
just a restaurant, waiter service only, although a cask beer<br />
from Twickenham is still available.<br />
SURBITON (KT5), CASTLE (Enterprise). Cask beer<br />
discontinued.<br />
WEST<br />
W2, CHEPSTOW (Enterprise). Renamed a few years ago<br />
COLCHIS, then NEW ANGEL, now closed in September,<br />
future uncertain.<br />
W10, FLORA (Punch). Sold a couple of years ago. Now<br />
owned by Mendoza Ltd. Closed in January, future uncertain.<br />
W12, CONINGHAM ARMS (Enterprise). Cask beer<br />
discontinued.<br />
W13, FREDDY’S. Was JACKSONS. Cask beer discontinued.<br />
HANWORTH (TW13), SWAN (Marston). Sold, closed and<br />
boarded in 2015, future uncertain.<br />
HAREFIELD (UB9), PLOUGH (independent). Having closed<br />
in 1998 and been used as a nursery, demolished in 2015.<br />
HOUNSLOW (TW3), DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE. Closed in<br />
2013, converted to shop units (all shuttered at present) with<br />
flats upstairs.<br />
ISLEWORTH (TW7), TOWN WHARF (Samuel Smith). Cask<br />
beer discontinued in 2012.<br />
