Often concrete/litter temperature is<br />

measured quickly at chick placement in a<br />

few random areas and not a true picture<br />

is taken of how uniform litter concrete/<br />

litter temperature actually is. The best<br />

way to measure is to take a reading<br />

(both concrete/litter) every six metres in<br />

length of the poultry house and in three<br />

rows across the width of the house.<br />
