• Shadow layers<br />

Not all <strong>Cricut</strong> fonts have a shadow layer. However, many fonts that don’t have a<br />

shadow layer do have a bold option that can be used as a shadow.<br />

For example, the Quarter note font.<br />

The purple image below is Quarter note font – regular<br />

Under that is Quarter note – bold<br />

Layer those two and you get:<br />

You’ll find the bold option (as well as Italic and Bold Italic) by clicking on Regular<br />

below the font name.<br />

This trick also works with most system fonts provided they have a<br />

bold option.<br />
