About Gerard Basset<br />

Gerard Basset is a former World Champion<br />

Sommelier and the only person to ever<br />

simultaneously hold the Master of Wine, Master<br />

Sommelier and MBA Wine honours. In 2011 he was<br />

awarded an OBE for his services to the hospitality<br />

industry and in 2013 was voted Decanter Man of<br />
