Founder/ Deejay Neo Soul Cafe
Frances premiered as an on air personality for main
stream radio, in Dallas Texas, in the 90’s. She managed
a career with major local stations like: KNON
89.3, KRNB 105.7, and KOAI the Oasis 107.5, for 10
years. In 2002 Frances Jaye turned her passion into
possibility for those who shared her affection for
good music by launching a premier online radio station:
Neo Soul Cafe.
Passion Becomes a Movement
The station features emerging soul artist, exclusive
interviews, events, festival opportunities for fellow
lovers of music, and occasional giveaways. Since
the inception of the Neo Soul Cafe, Frances has pioneered
a romantically unique genre of emerging soul
music, which has been muted by the music industry.
Her unique presence is attributed to her dedicated
search for budding new artist and classic soulful
sounds. For this reason, she quickly developed
a global following opening the door for Frances to
become an acclaimed national presence and travel
extensively as a featured deejay.

into a groove—be it at the House of Blues or the Essence
Festival Center Stage.
