The Base Station’s unique design means it can sleep up to eight people. Up front is the caravan compartment which<br />
sleeps two, with a fold out double bed extending outside the vehicle’s super-structure. Add an optional converter<br />
and the dinette provides two additional sleeping berths, while inside the garage compartment there are also two<br />
fold down single beds with the option of double bunks to each side.<br />
At the rear, a sturdy fold-down back door & comprising the entire back of the vehicle & doubles as a ramp, so equipment<br />
and machines can be stored inside. Two cables allow the ramp to be turned into a deck. There is also a handy built-in<br />
mechanic’s rack in the rear compartment. An internal doorway links both compartments.<br />
A toilet and shower are standard, making the Base Station completely self-sufficient.

The Setec power converter is Australian-designed and constructed for our sometimes<br />
inconsistent supply of power in remote areas. This built-in fused power converter provides<br />
a safe 12v supply from 240v mains. Produced especially for <strong>Jayco</strong>, the Setec system<br />
delivers generous lighting on either 240v or 12v supply.<br />
When only 12v power is available, the unit is self-sensing and no switching is required.<br />
A valuable additional feature of the unit is its built-in trickle charger (13.5v output) to cater<br />
for an auxiliary battery.<br />
