Twenty years ago, Mike Splitt stood up at a<br />
Chamber of Commerce dinner to announce<br />
that the chamber wanted to organize a 5K<br />
event in honor of Bob Blazier’s unparalleled community<br />
accomplishments. Bob was to name a charity of his choice<br />
and he chose Raue Center For The Arts. Nineteen years<br />
later the event continues to build community and raise<br />
awareness for the importance of the arts in our lives.<br />
For the third straight year, the Bob Blazier Run For The Arts<br />
is calling all superheroes to help Super Bob in the fight to<br />
keep the arts alive and thriving in our community! Your<br />
registration fees go directly to supporting Raue Center<br />
and its various programs including Mission Imagination and Sage Studio, both of which<br />
provide arts education to young people in and around McHenry County.<br />
